O aumento da propriedade está relacionado aos estilos e meios usados para produzi-la. No entanto, o aumento da posse dessa propriedade está relacionado à maneira pela qual a pessoa aumenta essa posse. O sistema econômico não tem nada a ver com o aumento da propriedade; antes, o sistema se ocupa do aumento da posse. O Islã não interferiu no aumento da propriedade, e deixou ao homem o aumento da propriedade pelos estilos e meios que Ele considera adequados para isso. O Islã, entretanto, interfere no aumento da posse da propriedade e explicou suas regras. O aumento da posse é restringido pelos limites estabelecidos pelo Legislador, que não podem ser transgredidos. O Legislador estabeleceu diretrizes gerais para determinar a maneira pela qual a posse pode ser aumentada, e Ele (que a paz esteja com Ele) deixou aos estudiosos (Mujtahideen) a tarefa de deduzir os detalhes dessas diretrizes a partir delas, com base em sua compreensão dos acontecimentos. No entanto, o Legislador proibiu certas maneiras. Assim, Ele explicou as transações e contratos pelos quais a posse pode ser aumentada e aqueles pelos quais a pessoa é impedida de aumentar a posse.

The increase of property is related to the styles and means used to produce it. However, increasing ownership of this property is related to the manner by which the person increases this ownership. The economic system has nothing to do with the increase of property; rather the system is involved with the increase of ownership. Islam did not interfere with the increase of property, and it left man to increase property by the styles and means, which He considers suitable for doing so. Islam does however interfere with the increase of ownership of property and has explained its rules. The increase of ownership is restricted by the limits given by the Lawgiver, which may not be transgressed. The Lawgiver has placed general guidelines to determine the manner by which ownership may be increased, and He (pbuh) left the scholars (Mujtahideen) to deduce the details of these guidelines from them based on their understanding of the incidents. However, the Lawgiver did prevent certain manners. Thus He explained the transactions and contracts with which ownership may be increased and those with which the person is prevented from increasing the ownership.

Ao examinar, percebe-se que as propriedades nesta vida terrena se limitam a três coisas: a terra, a propriedade que resulta da troca de bens e a propriedade que resulta da transformação de bens de uma forma para outra. As coisas com as quais o homem lida para obter propriedade ou aumentá-la são a agricultura, o comércio e a indústria. Desta forma, os modos pelos quais a pessoa aumenta a sua propriedade devem ser um tema de discussão no sistema econômico. A agricultura (lavoura), o comércio e a indústria são estilos e meios utilizados para produzir propriedade, e as normas relacionadas a eles mostram a maneira pela qual a pessoa aumenta a sua propriedade.

Upon examination, one finds the properties in this worldly life to be limited to three things which are: land, property which results from the exchange of things, and property which results from transforming things from one form to another. Things which man deals with to obtain property or to increase it are agriculture, trading, and industry. In this way, the manners by which the person increases his ownership of property must be a subject of discussion in the economic system. Agriculture (farming), trading and industry are styles and means used to produce property and the rules related to them show the manner by which the person increases his ownership of property.

A Shar'a explicou as regras da agricultura ao expor as normas sobre a terra e tudo o que a ela se relaciona. Também explicou as regras do comércio ao expor as normas sobre a venda, as sociedades comerciais e assuntos afins. Explicou ainda as regras da indústria ao expor as normas sobre o trabalhador e a manufatura. Quanto aos produtos da indústria, estes estão incluídos no comércio. Assim, o aumento da propriedade é limitado pelas regras da Shar'a, que são as normas sobre as terras e assuntos relacionados, sobre a venda, as sociedades e matérias a elas ligadas, e também as normas sobre o trabalhador e a manufatura.

Shar’a explained the rules of farming by manifesting the rules of land and that which is related to it. It also explained the rules of trading by manifesting the rules of selling and companies and related matters. It also explained the rules of industry by manifesting the rules of the labourer and manufacturing. With regard to the products of industry, they are included in trading. Increase of ownership is thus restricted by the rules of the Shar’a, which are the rules of lands and related matters, selling and companies and matters related to them and also the rules of the labourer and manufacturing.
