أ--- الرقى المحرّمة هي ما لم تكن من كتاب الله العظيم ولا من سنّة النبي ﷺ، وما لم يُتلَ بالعربية. وهذا بلا شك عمل شيطاني محرَّم، يمارسه على هذا الوجه أكثر المشعوذين والسحرة والكذّابين، ومن كانوا يتعاطون التمائم وغيرها من وسائل السحر والكتب، مثل:

A--- The unlawful Ruqa are those which do not comprise parts of the Glorious Qur'an or the Prophetic Sunnah, and that which was not recited in Arabic. This is certainly a devilish prohibited work. Practicing it (in this way) as done by most jugglers, sorcerers and liars and those who used to manipulate the talismans and other witchcraft means and books such as:

شمس المعارف وشموس الأنوار، كل هذا محرّم ومكروه في الإسلام.

Shams Al-Ma 'arif and Shumus Al-Anwar, all this is forbidden and disliked by Islam.
