Q 45: What is the opposite of "Oneness of the Worship of Allah"?
أ--- والضد هو [الشرك] الشرك. والشرك نوعان (15)، وهما: [الشرك الأكبر]، و[الشرك الأصغر].
A--- The opposite is [Shrik] polytheism. There are two types of Shirk (15), namely: [Ash-Shirk Al-Akbar] the Major Shirk, and [Ash-Shirk Al-Asghar] the Minor Shirk (polytheism).
(15) هناك نوع ثالث من الشرك، وهو: [الشرك الخفي]، أي الشرك غير الظاهر. وهذا النوع يتضمن عدم الرضا في الباطن بالحال الحتمية التي قدّرها الله تعالى على المرء؛ وذلك بالتحسر الواعي على أنه لو فعل كذا أو لم يفعل كذا، أو لو اتجه إلى كذا، لكان في حال أفضل، وغير ذلك. (المترجم)
(15) There is a third type of Shirk, namely: [Ash-Shirk AI-Khafi] i.e. Inconspicuous Shirk. This type implies being inwardly dissatisfied with the inevitable condition that has been ordained for one by Allah; conscientiously lamenting that had you done or not done such and such or had you approached such and such you would have had a better status, etc. (Translator)
