Al recurrir a la idea de separar la religión de la vida, Occidente se ha otorgado a sí mismo el derecho de legislar. Sostiene que el hombre debe vivir su vida como le plazca y no como quisieran los demás; conforme a sus propios caprichos y no a la voluntad de otros. Consideraron que el hombre no puede ejercer este derecho hasta que disfrute de su libertad. Esto ha llevado a que su libertad se represente como las libertades de creencia, propiedad, opinión y libertad personal. Y consideró sagrada esta idea de libertades.

By resorting to the idea of separating religion from life, The West has given the right of legislation to itself. It takes the view that man must live his life as he pleases and not as others would like; in accordance with his own whims and not the will of others. They took the view that man cannot practice this right until he enjoys his freedom. This has led his freedom to be represented as the freedoms of belief, ownership, opinion and personal freedom. It considered this idea of freedoms as sacred.

Estas libertades tienen significados técnicos específicos.

These freedoms have specific technical meanings.

La libertad de creencia permite a la persona creer en la religión que elija. O le permite pasar de una creencia a otra, incluso si esto ocurriera a diario. Le permitía también rechazar las religiones por completo.

Freedom of belief allows the individual to believe in the religion he chooses. Or it allows him to move from one creed to another, even if it was a daily occurrence. It permitted him to reject religions altogether.

La libertad de propiedad permite al individuo poseer lo que quiera y por cualquier medio que desee. También tiene derecho a disponer de su riqueza de la manera que desee. Si quiere regalársela a su perro y privar de ella a sus herederos, nadie puede impedírselo.

Freedom of ownership allows the individual to own whatever he wants and through any means he wants. He also has the right to dispose of with his wealth in any manner he wishes. If he wants to give it as a gift to his dog and prevent his inheritors from it, then nobody can stop him from doing so.

La libertad de opinión le permite decir lo que quiera, sea verdadero o falso, sin ningún obstáculo ni control. Puede contradecir o criticar cualquier opinión que vaya en contra de su entendimiento o de sus caprichos.

Freedom of opinion allows him to say whatever he wants, whether it is true or false, without any obstacle or monitoring. He can violate or criticize any opinion that goes against his understanding or whims.

La libertad personal permite a los individuos gestionar sus asuntos personales sin tener en cuenta valores, límites éticos ni restricciones espirituales.

Personal freedom allows individuals to run their personal affairs without any consideration for values, ethical constraints or spiritual restrictions.

Esta idea de las libertades, que son requisitos básicos de la democracia, ha hecho que los valores de quienes la defienden decaigan a un nivel inferior al de los animales.

This idea of freedoms, which are basic requirements of Democracy, has caused the values of those who advocate it to decline to a level lower than that of animals.

La libertad de creencia ha hecho que la religión pierda su importancia en las sociedades capitalistas. Ha menospreciado en gran medida la religión al permitir que los individuos cambien de religión como cambian de ropa.

The freedom of belief has made religion lose its importance in capitalist societies. It belittled religion greatly when it permitted individuals to change their religion the way they changes their clothes.

Con la difusión del pensamiento materialista y la restricción del pensamiento religioso, los valores éticos, humanitarios y espirituales han desaparecido. Las almas de las personas se han quedado sin compasión, y han llegado a vivir como lobos, donde los fuertes someten a los débiles.

With the spread of the materialistic thought and the restriction of the religious thought, the ethical, humanitarian and spiritual values have disappeared. The souls of the people have become devoid of compassion, and they have come to live like wolves, where the strong subjugate the weak.

La libertad de opinión ha permitido a la gente decir lo que quiera y llamar a lo que desee. Así, toda opinión falsa, extraña y disparatada se encuentra en sus sociedades; carecen de cualquier criterio de verdad para distinguirla. También llega a oír uno a cualquier persona común blasfemar contra el Mensajero ﷺ, sin ninguna ley que se lo impida; como Salman Rushdi, que se sirve de la libertad de creencia como pretexto y se esconde bajo la libertad de expresión.

Freedom of opinion has permitted the people to say what they like and to call for whatever they want. So, every false, strange and crazy opinion is to be found in their societies; they are devoid of the truth any criteria for it. You also come to hear any common person blaspheme against the Messenger 􀁕, without any law to prevent him from this; like Salman Rushdi, who uses freedom of belief as a pretext and hides under freedom of speech.

En cuanto a la libertad de propiedad y sus criterios de beneficio, esta ha dado origen a la monstruosidad del capitalismo, que ha tomado el colonialismo como método para controlar el futuro de los pueblos, apoderarse de sus recursos, explotar sus riquezas y derramar la sangre de sus gentes. Todo ello para competir con otros por las ganancias ilícitas (haram), comerciar con la sangre de los musulmanes, avivar guerras civiles y conflictos entre naciones con el fin de vender sus productos y los de sus industrias militares, que han obtenido enormes beneficios. Estos Estados capitalistas se han despojado de todo valor espiritual, ético y humanitario. Más bien, utilizan la religión, cuando les conviene, para encubrir sus intereses y pretender tener valores éticos y humanitarios con los que disimular su rostro feo y su hedor pútrido.

As for freedom of ownership and its criteria of benefit, it has created the monstrosity of Capitalism, which has taken colonialism as a method to control people’s future, and to seize their resources, exploit their wealth, and spill the blood of their peoples. This is to compete with others for the Haraam earning, to trade with the blood of the Muslims, to fuel civil wars and wars between nations so as to sell their products and those of their military industries, which have made huge profits. These capitalist states have stripped themselves of any spiritual, ethical or humanitarian values. Rather they use religion, if compelled, to cover their interests and claim to have ethical and humanitarian values to conceal their ugly face and putrid smell.

En cuanto a la libertad personal, ha transformado a las sociedades de los países democráticos en sociedades animalizadas y decadentes. Han descendido a un nivel de libertinaje repugnante que ni siquiera los animales han alcanzado.

As for personal freedom, it has transformed societies in the democratic countries into declined animalistic societies. They have descended to a level of disgusting licentiousness that even the animals have not reached.

Su legislación ha permitido relaciones sexuales anormales y erróneas.

Their legislation has permitted abnormal and erroneous sexual relations.

Ves en ellos prácticas que no se ven ni siquiera entre los animales. Practican el sexo colectivo y el incesto con sus madres, hijas y hermanas. Practican el sexo incluso con animales. Por ello aparecen entre ellos enfermedades que nunca antes habían existido. La desintegración de la familia puede observarse en sus sociedades, y se ha perdido el respeto mutuo entre los miembros de una misma familia. La libertad personal se entiende como la libertad de deshacerse de todas las restricciones, permitiendo cualquier tipo de valores y la libertad de destruir la familia. Es en nombre de la libertad que se cometen todos los grandes pecados y que se permiten todas las prohibiciones.

You see amongst them practices that you do not see even amongst animals. They practice group sex and incest with their mothers, daughters and sisters. They practice sex even with animals. Hence diseases appear amongst them that never existed before. The break up of the family can be seen in their societies and the mutual respect between the members of a single family has been lost. Personal freedom is the freedom to do away with all restrictions; allowing any kind of values and the freedom to destroy the family. It is in the name of freedom that all the grave sins are committed and all the prohibitions are permitted.

Así, la libertad de fornicar, de practicar la homosexualidad y el lesbianismo, de andar desnudo y de consumir alcohol, y la búsqueda de toda acción por baja o despreciable que sea, se realiza con la máxima libertad y sin presión ni coacción alguna.

So the freedom of fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, nudity, and alcohol, and the pursuit of every action no matter how low or despicable it may be, is all done with the utmost freedom without any pressure or compulsion.

Estos son los efectos de la democracia. Son producto de los caprichos del hombre y no provienen de Allah 􀀬, ni se derivan de la revelación que desciende de los cielos. No tienen nada que ver con ninguna religión. Si volvemos a aquello que estableció la democracia en la mente de sus defensores y pensadores, y a las circunstancias en las que nació, quedará muy claro que se fundó sobre una base de kufr y que fue establecida como respuesta a dichos como los de Luis XV: “No recibí la corona sino de Dios”, y Luis XIV: “La autoridad de los reyes deriva de la delegación de Dios. Dios es su fuente exclusiva y no el pueblo. Los reyes no rinden cuentas de cómo ejercen su autoridad, sino únicamente ante Dios.” Los intelectuales describieron la teoría del contrato social de Jean Jacques Rousseau como “la Biblia de la revolución secular francesa”. De todo esto se nos hace evidente la total contradicción del Islam con la democracia, en cuanto a la fuente de la que procede, el credo del que emana, la base sobre la que se funda y los pensamientos y sistemas que ha traído.

These are the effects of Democracy. They are the product of man’s whims and not from Allah 􀀬, and they are not derived from the revelation that comes from the heavens. They have nothing to do with any religion whatsoever. If we return to the thing that established Democracy in the minds of its advocates and thinkers, and the circumstances into which it was born, it will become very clear that it was founded on a kufr basis and it was established as a response to sayings such as those of Louis XV; “We did not receive the crown except from God”, and Louis XIV; “The authority of the kings derives from the delegation of God. God is its exclusive source and not the people. Kings are not accountable for how they practice their authority, except before God.” The intellectuals described the theory of the social contract of Jean Jacque Russo as, ‘the Bible of the French secular revolution.’ From all of this the complete contradiction of Islam with Democracy becomes clear to us, in regards to the source from which it came, the creed from which it emanated, the basis on which it is founded and the thoughts and systems it has brought.

- La fuente de la que procede es el hombre. Él es el que gobierna y a quien se remite al emitir juicios sobre las acciones y las cosas, en cuanto a considerarlas hasán (bellas/dignas de hacerse) o qubḥ (reprobables). Esto no es sino seguir los caprichos y deseos propios. Sus raíces de origen se encuentran en los filósofos de Europa.

- The source from which it has come is man. He is the ruler who is referred to in issuing judgments on actions and things, in respect of them being husn (pretty/worthy of doing) or qubh (reprehensible). This is nothing but following one’s whims and desires. The roots of its creation lie with the philosophers of Europe.

En cambio, el Islam es lo opuesto a eso. Proviene de Allah 􀀬. Él 􀀬 lo reveló a Su Profeta Muhammad ﷺ, Su siervo y Mensajero 􀁕. El que legisla en el Islam es la Shar'a al dictar las normas, y no la mente. El papel de la mente se limita a comprender los textos de la Sharee'ah.

As for Islam, it is opposite to that. It is from Allah 􀀬. He 􀀬 revealed it to His Prophet Muhammad, His Servant and Messenger 􀁕. The ruler in Islam refers to the Shar’a in issuing rules and not to the mind. The role of the mind is restricted to understanding the Sharee’ah texts.

En cuanto a la creencia de la que emana la democracia, es la creencia de la separación de la religión de la vida, que es la creencia basada en la solución de compromiso. Esta creencia no rechazó la religión, sino que abolió su papel en la vida y en el Estado, y en consecuencia otorgó al hombre el derecho a establecer su propio sistema.

- As for the creed from which Democracy emanates, it is the creed of separating religion from life, which is the creed based on the compromise solution. This creed did not reject religion but abolished its role in life and State, and consequently gave man the right to lay down his own system.

Fue sobre la base de su creencia que se fundó su civilización y se definió su orientación intelectual.

It was on the basis of its creed that its civilisation was founded and its intellectual direction was defined.

En cambio, el Islam es contrario a esto. Se basa en la 'Aqeedah islámica, que obliga a que todos los asuntos de la vida y el Estado se dirijan conforme a las órdenes y prohibiciones de Allah (SWT). En otras palabras, la vida transcurre según las normas de la Sharee'ah que emanan de la 'Aqeedah islámica.

As for Islam it is contrary to this. It is based on the Islamic ‘Aqeedah that obliges all of life’s affairs, and the State to be directed according to the orders and prohibitions of Allah 􀀬. In other words, life proceeds according to the Sharee’ah rules that emanate from the Islamic ‘Aqeedah.

Fue sobre la base de su 'Aqeedah que se fundó su civilización y se definió su orientación intelectual.

It was on the basis of its ‘Aqeedah that its civilisation was founded and its intellectual direction was defined.

- La base sobre la que se fundamenta la democracia es que la soberanía pertenece al pueblo. El pueblo es la fuente de los poderes. Sobre esta base, los sistemas democráticos crearon tres poderes: el legislativo, el ejecutivo y el judicial, con el fin de expresar en la práctica su soberanía y autoridad.

- The basis on which Democracy is founded is that sovereignty is for the people. The people are the source of the powers. Based on this, the democratic systems created three powers; the legislative, executive and judicial powers, so as to practically express its sovereignty and authority.

En cuanto al Islam, la soberanía reside en la Shar'a, y la Ummah no posee el derecho de legislar. Sin embargo, el Islam ha obligado a los musulmanes a ejecutar las órdenes y prohibiciones de Allah (SWT), y lo ha manifestado mediante el establecimiento del Estado del Califato tal como lo definen los textos de la Sharía.

As for Islam, sovereignty lies with the Shar’a, and the Ummah does not possess the right of legislation. However, Islam has obliged the Muslims to execute the orders and prohibitions of Allah 􀀬, and it manifested this through the establishment of the Khilafah State as defined by the Sharee’ah texts.

- La democracia surgió con sistemas y pensamientos basados en el beneficio y en seguir los caprichos, mientras que la legislación del Islam se basa en seguir los textos y deducir de ellos las normas de la Shari'ah, es decir, se fundamenta en la adhesión y el seguimiento de la guía.

- Democracy came with systems and thoughts based on benefit and the following of whims, whilst the legislation of Islam is based on following the texts and deducing the Shar’eeah rules from them, i.e. it is based on the adherence to and following of guidance.

La afirmación de que la democracia tiene algunos elementos buenos de los que el Islam puede beneficiarse carece de fundamento y no se basa en evidencia. Hemos visto algunos de los efectos de la democracia; ha creado una situación perversa que no contiene nada bueno. La mejor comunidad que ha sido suscitada para la humanidad no necesita tomar nada de la democracia. ¿Acaso hay alguna carencia en el Islam que deba compensarse haciendo tal afirmación?

The statement that Democracy has some good elements from which Islam can benefit is baseless and is not based upon evidence. We have seen some of the effects of Democracy; it has created an evil situation that contains no goodness. The best Ummah brought forth to mankind does not need to take anything from Democracy. Is there a deficiency in Islam, which needs to be compensated for by making such a claim?
