El aumento de la propiedad está relacionado con los estilos y los medios utilizados para producirla. Sin embargo, el aumento de la posesión de esta propiedad está relacionado con la manera en que la persona incrementa dicha posesión. El sistema económico no tiene nada que ver con el aumento de la propiedad; más bien, el sistema se ocupa del aumento de la posesión. El Islam no interfirió en el aumento de la propiedad, y dejó al hombre que incremente la propiedad mediante los estilos y medios que Él considera adecuados para hacerlo. Sin embargo, el Islam sí interfiere en el aumento de la posesión de la propiedad y ha explicado sus reglas. El aumento de la posesión está restringido por los límites establecidos por el Legislador (Ash-Shaari'), los cuales no pueden ser transgredidos. El Legislador ha establecido pautas generales para determinar la manera en que puede aumentarse la posesión, y dejó a los eruditos (Mujtahidun) la tarea de deducir los detalles de estas pautas a partir de ellas, según su comprensión de los acontecimientos. No obstante, el Legislador sí prohibió ciertas maneras. Así, explicó las transacciones y contratos con los que puede aumentarse la posesión, y aquellos con los que se impide a la persona aumentarla.

The increase of property is related to the styles and means used to produce it. However, increasing ownership of this property is related to the manner by which the person increases this ownership. The economic system has nothing to do with the increase of property; rather the system is involved with the increase of ownership. Islam did not interfere with the increase of property, and it left man to increase property by the styles and means, which He considers suitable for doing so. Islam does however interfere with the increase of ownership of property and has explained its rules. The increase of ownership is restricted by the limits given by the Lawgiver, which may not be transgressed. The Lawgiver has placed general guidelines to determine the manner by which ownership may be increased, and He (pbuh) left the scholars (Mujtahideen) to deduce the details of these guidelines from them based on their understanding of the incidents. However, the Lawgiver did prevent certain manners. Thus He explained the transactions and contracts with which ownership may be increased and those with which the person is prevented from increasing the ownership.

Al examinar el asunto, se observa que la propiedad en esta vida terrenal se limita a tres cosas: la tierra, la propiedad que resulta del intercambio de bienes y la propiedad que resulta de transformar las cosas de una forma a otra. Las actividades que el ser humano emplea para obtener propiedad o incrementarla son la agricultura, el comercio y la industria. De este modo, las formas en que la persona aumenta la propiedad que posee deben ser objeto de estudio dentro del sistema económico. La agricultura (cultivo de la tierra), el comercio y la industria son métodos y medios empleados para producir propiedad, y las normas relacionadas con ellos muestran la manera en que la persona incrementa su propiedad.

Upon examination, one finds the properties in this worldly life to be limited to three things which are: land, property which results from the exchange of things, and property which results from transforming things from one form to another. Things which man deals with to obtain property or to increase it are agriculture, trading, and industry. In this way, the manners by which the person increases his ownership of property must be a subject of discussion in the economic system. Agriculture (farming), trading and industry are styles and means used to produce property and the rules related to them show the manner by which the person increases his ownership of property.

La Shari'a explicó las normas de la agricultura al manifestar las normas sobre la tierra y lo relacionado con ella. También explicó las normas del comercio al manifestar las normas sobre la compraventa y las sociedades y asuntos afines. Asimismo, explicó las normas de la industria al manifestar las normas sobre el trabajador y la manufactura. En cuanto a los productos de la industria, estos quedan incluidos en el comercio. Así, el incremento de la propiedad queda restringido por las normas de la Shari'a, que son las normas sobre las tierras y asuntos relacionados, la compraventa y las sociedades y asuntos vinculados a ellas, y también las normas sobre el trabajador y la manufactura.

Shar’a explained the rules of farming by manifesting the rules of land and that which is related to it. It also explained the rules of trading by manifesting the rules of selling and companies and related matters. It also explained the rules of industry by manifesting the rules of the labourer and manufacturing. With regard to the products of industry, they are included in trading. Increase of ownership is thus restricted by the rules of the Shar’a, which are the rules of lands and related matters, selling and companies and matters related to them and also the rules of the labourer and manufacturing.
