আল্লাহ বলেন, {দোষারোপ তো কেবল তাদেরই বিরুদ্ধে, যারা মানুষের উপর জুলুম করে এবং পৃথিবীতে অন্যায়ভাবে সীমালঙ্ঘন করে বেড়ায়। তাদের জন্যই রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।} (সূরা আশ-শূরা: ৪২)

Allah says, {The blame is only against those who oppress men with wrongdoing and insolently transgress beyond bounds through the land, defying right and justice: for such there will be a chastisement grievous.} (Ash-Shura: 42)

কর আদায়কারী অত্যাচারীদের নিকটতম সহযোগীদের একজন। বরং সে অত্যাচারীদের মধ্যেও গণ্য হতে পারে।

The tax collector is one of the closest supporters of the oppressors. Rather he may be of the oppressors.

তিনি যা তার জন্য বৈধ নয় তা গ্রহণ করেন এবং যারা তা পাওয়ার যোগ্য নয় তাদের তা দেন। এ কারণেই নবী ﷺ ঘোষণা করেছেন, "কর আদায়কারী জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করবে না।" 2

He takes what is not lawful to him and gives it to those who do not deserve it. Hence, the Prophet declared, "The tax collector will not tread Paradise.” 2

যে নারী ব্যভিচার করার পর আল্লাহর কাছে তাওবা করেছিল, সেই সম্পর্কে নবী ﷺ বলেছেন, "সে আল্লাহর কাছে এমনভাবে তাওবা করেছে যে, তা যদি কোনো অত্যাচারী কর আদায়কারীর মধ্যেও থাকত, তবে তাকেও ক্ষমা করা হত অথবা তা কবুল করা হত।" 3

Concerning the woman who has turned to Allah in repentance, as she had committed adultery, the Prophet said, "She has turned to Allah in repentance in such a manner that if observed by an unjust tax collector he would be forgiven or it would be accepted.” 3
