আল্লাহ, মহিমান্বিত, বলেন, {দোষ কেবল তাদের, যারা মানুষের উপর অত্যাচার করে এবং পৃথিবীতে অন্যায়ভাবে সীমালঙ্ঘন করে, সত্য ও ন্যায়কে অমান্য করে। তাদের জন্যই রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।} (আশ-শূরা: ৪২)

Allah, the Almighty says, {The blame is only against those who Oppress men with wrong-doing and insolently transgress beyond bounds through the land defying right and justice: for such there will be a chastisement grievous.} (AI-Shura: 42)

কুরআনে আরও বলা হয়েছে: {তুমি কখনো মনে করো না যে, আল্লাহ যালিমদের কাজকর্ম সম্পর্কে গাফেল। তিনি তো তাদেরকে সেদিন পর্যন্ত অবকাশ দিচ্ছেন যেদিন চোখগুলো স্থির হয়ে থাকবে; তারা মাথা উঁচু করে ছুটে চলবে, তাদের দৃষ্টি তাদের দিকে ফিরে আসবে না এবং তাদের অন্তর হবে শূন্য!} (ইবরাহীম: ৪২-৪৩)

The Qur'an also states, {Think not that Allah doth heed the deeds of those who do wrong. He but giveth them respect against a Day when the eyes will fixedly stare in horror, they running forward with necks outstretched, their heads uplifted; their gaze returning not towards them, and their hearts a (gaping) void!} (Ibrahim: 42-43)
