Allah, Most High, says: {E cumpri (toda) aliança, pois (toda) aliança será interrogada no Dia do Ajuste de Contas} (Al-Isra: 34)

Allah, Most High, says, {And fulfill (every) engagement, for (every) engagement will be enquired into on the day of reckoning} (AI-Isra: 34)

{Ó vós que credes! Cumpri (todos) os compromissos?} (Al-Ma'idah: 1)

{O ye who believe! Fulfill (all) obligations?} (AI-Ma'idah: 1)

Az-Zajjaj disse que os compromissos incluem tudo o que Allah ordena ou proíbe. Al-Wahidi também disse que as obrigações incluem o que Allah tornou lícito ou ilícito no Alcorão. Muqatil ibn Hayyan acrescentou que também estão incluídos os pactos firmados entre os muçulmanos ou entre muçulmanos e não muçulmanos.

Az-Zajjaj said engagements include all what Allah commands or forbids. AI-Wahidi also said obligations include what Allah made lawful or unlawful in the Qur'an. Muqatil Ibn Hayyan added, it is also included the convenants held among Muslims or between Muslim and non- Muslims.

O Profeta ﷺ disse: "Há quatro (hábitos) que, se forem encontrados numa pessoa, ela é um hipócrita completo. Se um destes for encontrado numa pessoa, então ela tem um sinal de hipocrisia, até que o abandone. Estas quatro características do hipócrita são:

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "There are four (habits) which, if found in a person, he is a perfect hypocrite. If one of these is found in a person, then he has one sign of hypocrisy, until he leaves it. These four characteristics of a hypocrite are:

"quando lhe é confiado algo, ele o desvia; quando fala, ele mente; quando promete, ele quebra a promessa; e quando discute, ele passa a insultar as pessoas." 1

when he is entrusted (with something) he embezzles, when he talks he lies, when he promises he breaks it, and when he argues he starts abusing people.” 1

O Profeta ﷺ disse: "Para todo aquele que quebra a sua promessa, haverá uma bandeira (para o identificar) no Dia do Juízo, e será proclamado que esta bandeira é o símbolo da promessa de fulano."2

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "For everyone who breaks his promise, there will be a flag (to mark him out) on the Day of Judgment, and it will be announced that this flag is the symbol of promise by so and so.”2

O Profeta ﷺ disse: "Haverá três pessoas contra as quais Eu lutarei no Dia do Juízo: uma, a pessoa que faz uma promessa jurando em Meu nome e depois a quebra; duas, a pessoa que vende um homem livre como escravo e se apropria do produto da venda; e três, a pessoa que contrata um trabalhador e, tendo obtido dele o trabalho completo, não lhe paga o que lhe é devido." 3

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "There will be three people against whom I shall fight on the Day of htdgment: one, the person who makes a promise with an oath in my name and then breaks it, two, the person who sells a free man as a slave and appropriates his sale proceed and three, the person who employs, a workman and having taken full work from him fails to pay him his dues.” 3

O Profeta ﷺ disse: "Quem se retirar de um compromisso de lealdade encontrará Allah no Dia do Juízo sem nenhuma desculpa. E a morte de quem morre sem ter sobre si o líder de um grupo é como se tivesse morrido no período pré-islâmico de ignorância." 4

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Whoever withdraws himself from an engagement of loyalty will meet Allah with no excuse on the Day of Judgment. The death of someone who dies without the leader of a group over him is as if he had died in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance.” 4
