Allah, der Erhabene, sagt: {Und Moses sprach: „Ich nehme Zuflucht bei meinem Herrn und eurem Herrn vor jedem Hochmütigen, der nicht an den Tag der Abrechnung glaubt.“} (Ghafir: 27)

Allah, Most High, says, {Moses said, "I have indeed called upon my Lord and your Lord (for protection) from every arrogant one who believes not in the Day of Account.} (Ghafir: 27)

{Wahrlich, Er liebt die Hochmütigen nicht.} (An-Nahl: 23)

{Verily He loveth not the arrogant.} (An-Nahl: 23)

Der Prophet ﷺ sagte: „Ein Mann ging einst in einem neuen Gewand einher, mit stolzem Schritt und voller Selbstgefälligkeit. Da ließ Allah die Erde ihn verschlingen, und er wird darin versinken bis zum Tag der Auferstehung.“1

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Once a man was walking along in a new set of clothes, with a swagger to his step, pleased with himself, Allah caused the earth to swallow him and he will keep sinking until the Last Day.”1
