Allah (swt) ha honrado a los musulmanes haciéndolos portadores del Mensaje del Islam para todo el mundo, y Él (pbuh) ha determinado para ellos el método de transmitir su Mensaje mediante la Da'wa y la Yihad. Les ha hecho obligatoria la Yihad y, por tanto, el entrenamiento militar es una obligación.

Allah (swt) has honoured the Muslims by making them the conveyors of the Message of Islam to the whole world and He (pbuh) has determined for them the method of carrying its Message by means of D’awa and Jihad. He  made Jihad compulsory upon them and thus military training is an obligation.

Por lo tanto, todo musulmán varón que alcance la edad de quince años debe comenzar el entrenamiento militar en preparación para la yihad. En cuanto al reclutamiento militar, este es, de hecho, un deber colectivo.

Therefore, every male Muslim, who reaches the age of fifteen, should begin military training in readiness for Jihad. As for the military conscription, this is in fact a collective duty.

Evidencia de ello se refleja en el dicho de Allah (SWT): "Y combatidlos hasta que no haya persecución y la religión (la sumisión en su totalidad) sea para Allah". [TMQ 8:39]

Evidence of this is reflected in Allah’s (swt) saying; “And fight them on until there is no persecution and Deen (submission in its entirety) becomes to Allah” [TMQ 8:39]

y la Hadiz del Profeta de Allah ﷺ: «Realizad la Yihad contra los politeístas con vuestra riqueza, vuestras manos y vuestras lenguas». [Narrado por Abu Dawud a través de Anas]. Para llevarse a cabo según el modo determinado por la Shari'ah, combatir con el objetivo de derrotar al enemigo y conquistar la tierra requiere entrenamiento militar. Por lo tanto, el entrenamiento militar es obligatorio, como la Yihad, de acuerdo con el principio shar'i que establece: «Aquello que es necesario para cumplir un deber es en sí mismo un deber». La incitación al combate se encuentra comprendida en la orden «y combatidlos», que llegó en forma general, cuando Allah (SWT) dice: «Y combatidlos».

and the Hadith of the Prophet of Allah (pbuh); “Do perform Jihad against the Mushrikeen with your wealth, hands and tongues.” [Narrated by Abu Dawood on the authority of Anas] In order to be carried out according to the way determined by Shari’ah, fighting with the aim of beating the enemy and conquering the land, necessitates military training. Therefore military training is compulsory like Jihad, in accordance with the Shar’ai principle that states; “That which is necessary to accomplish a duty is itself a duty”. The soliciting of fighting falls within the order “and fight them” which came in general form. When Allah (swt) says; “And fight them”.

Esta es una orden de combatir y una orden de realizar cualquier tarea que haga posible el combate. Además, Allah (SWT) dice: «Preparad contra ellos cuanta fuerza podáis.» [TMQ 8:60]

This is an order to fight and an order to perform any task that makes the fighting possible. Besides this, Allah (swt) says, “Make ready for them all that (of armed force) you can.” [TMQ 8:60]

El entrenamiento y la alta pericia militar forman parte de la preparación del poder de combate, pues deben estar disponibles de inmediato para que la lucha sea posible. Así, el entrenamiento forma parte de la fuerza que debe obtenerse, como el armamento militar y las misiones militares, etc. En cuanto al reclutamiento militar, este implica asignar personas para que formen parte permanente de las fuerzas armadas, es decir, para que haya muyahidin realizando una yihad efectiva y todo lo que el deber de la yihad conlleve; esto es obligatorio. Esto se debe a que el cumplimiento de la yihad es un deber continuo, tanto si el enemigo nos atacó como si no, razón por la cual el reclutamiento militar es un deber que queda incluido en el dictamen (hukm) de la yihad.

Training and high military expertise form part of the preparation of fighting power, for they have to be readily available in order to make the fighting possible. Thus training forms part of the force that must be obtained such as military hardware and military missions etc. As for the military conscription, this necessitates the assignment of people to permanently be part of the armed forces, i.e. to have Mujahideen performing effective Jihad and whatever the duty of Jihad entails; this is compulsory. This is because the performance of Jihad is a continuous duty whether the enemy attacked us or not, which is why military conscription is a duty that is included in the Hukm of Jihad.
