Allah, le Très-Haut, dit : {Le Jour de la Résurrection, tu verras ceux qui ont menti contre Allah ; leurs visages seront devenus noirs :

Allah, the Most High, says, {On the Day of Judgement will thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black:

{N'y a-t-il pas, en Enfer, une demeure pour les orgueilleux ?} (Az-Zummar: 60)

is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty?} (Az-Zummar: 60)

Al-Hasan a dit, en commentant ce verset (Ayah) : ce sont ceux qui disent : « si nous voulons faire quelque chose, nous le faisons, mais si nous ne voulons pas le faire, nous ne le faisons pas ».

AI-Hasan said commenting on this ayah that: they are those who say, if we want to do something we do it but if we do not want to do it we do not.

Ibn Al-Jawziy a dit en interprétant le verset (Ayah) ci-dessus : Certains savants soutiennent que mentir au sujet d'Allah et de Son Prophète ﷺ est une mécréance qui place l'individu hors de l'Islam. Il ne fait aucun doute qu'un mensonge prémédité contre Allah et Son Messager ﷺ, qui déclare comme licite ce qui est illicite ou comme illicite ce qui est licite, est une mécréance pure. La question (savoir s'il s'agit d'un péché majeur plutôt que d'une mécréance pure et simple) ne concerne que les mensonges portant sur autre chose que cela.

Ibn AI-Jawziy said when interpreting the above ayah: Some scholars hold that lying about Allah and His Prophet (pbuh) is unbelief that puts one beyond the pale of Islam. There is no doubt that a premeditated lie against Allah and His Messenger that declares something which is unlawful to be permissible or something permissible to be unlawful is pure unbelief. The question (as to when it is a major sin rather than outright unbelief) only concerns lies about other than that.

Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui ment intentionnellement à mon sujet aura une maison construite dans le Feu de l'Enfer. » 1

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Whoever intentionally lies about me shall have a house built in the Hell-Fire.” 1

Le Prophète ﷺ a également dit : « Quiconque ment intentionnellement à mon sujet se réservera une place en Enfer. »2

The Prophet also said, "Whoever intentionally lies about me shall take a place for himself in Hell.”2

Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Celui qui rapporte des paroles qu'il prétend être de moi, tout en sachant que c'est un mensonge, est donc un menteur. » 3

The prophet said, "Whoever relates words purportedly from me, thinking it is a lie, is a liar." 3

Le Prophète ﷺ a également dit : « Un mensonge à mon sujet n'est pas comme un mensonge à l'égard de quelqu'un d'autre : quiconque ment intentionnellement à mon sujet se réservera une place en Enfer. »4

The Prophet also said, "A lie about me is not the same as a lie about someone else: whoever intentionally lies about me shall take a place for himself in Hell.”4

Il a été rapporté que le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Quiconque attribue à ma voix quelque chose que je n'ai pas dit se réservera une place en Enfer. »5

It was related that the Prophet (pbuh) said, "Whoever relates something from me I have not said shall take a place for himself in Hell.”5

Le Prophète ﷺ a également dit : « Le Croyant est créé habitué à tout, sauf à la trahison et au mensonge. » 6

The Prophet also said, "The Believer is created familiarized with everything except treachery and lying.” 6
