El Ijma' al-Mujtahideen se define como el acuerdo unánime de los mujtahidún (aquellos que se esfuerzan por extraer los ahkam) de la comunidad musulmana de cualquier época tras la muerte del Profeta ﷺ. Los defensores del Ijma' al-Mujtahideen han utilizado la misma daleel que se usa para el Ijma' al-Ummah. Por tanto, los mismos argumentos se aplicarían al Ijma' al-Mujtahideen.

Ijma‟ al Mujtahideen is defined as a unanimous agreement of the Mujtahideen (those who exert their efforts to extract the Ahkaam) of the Muslim community of any period following the death of the Prophet (saw). The proponents of Ijma‟ al Mujtahideen have used the same Daleel, which is used for Ijma‟ al Ummah. Thus the same arguments would apply to Ijma al Mujtahideen.
