একইভাবে, কুরআন দাওয়াহ‑কে মানুষের বিরুদ্ধে "শাহাদাহ" (সাক্ষ্য দেওয়া) শব্দের মাধ্যমে প্রকাশ করেছে। তিনি বলেন:

Similarly, the Qur’an has expressed the da’wah with the term, “shahaadah” (to bear witness) against people. He said:

“আর এভাবেই আমি তোমাদের একটি মধ্যপন্থী উম্মত বানিয়েছি, যাতে তোমরা মানবজাতির উপর সাক্ষী হও এবং রাসূল তোমাদের উপর সাক্ষী হন।” [সূরা আল-বাকারা ২:১৪৩] রাসূল ﷺ বলেছেন, “...মু’মিনগণ পৃথিবীতে আল্লাহর সাক্ষী।” [ইবনু মাজাহ কর্তৃক বর্ণিত]। রাসূল ﷺ আরও বলেছেন, “যে উপস্থিত আছে সে যেন তা অনুপস্থিত ব্যক্তির কাছে পৌঁছে দেয়।” একইভাবে কুরআন দাওয়াহকে “তাবলীগ” (পৌঁছে দেওয়া) শব্দ দ্বারা প্রকাশ করেছে। তিনি বলেছেন:

“Thus We have made you a just nation, that you be witnesses against mankind and the Messenger be a witness against you.” [TMQ 2:143] The Messenger says, “...the believers are witnesses of Allah on earth.” [Repoted by Ibn Majah]. The Messenger also says, “Let the one present (shaahid, ie witnessing this) convey it to the one absent.” Likewise the Qur’an has expressed the da’wah with the term, “tableegh” (conveyance). He said:

হে রাসূল! আপনার প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ করা হয়েছে তা পৌঁছে দিন। আর যদি আপনি তা না করেন, তবে আপনি তাঁর বার্তা পৌঁছে দেননি।

“O Messenger (Muhammad )! Convey (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you did not, then you have not conveyed His Message.

আল্লাহ তোমাকে মানুষের (অনিষ্ট) থেকে রক্ষা করবেন” [তাফহীমুল কুরআন ৫:৬৭]; এবং রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ আরও বলেন, “আমার পক্ষ থেকে (অন্তত) একটি আয়াত হলেও পৌঁছে দাও।” [Reported by Bukhari]

Allah will protect you from mankind” [TMQ 5:67]; and the Messenger also says, “Convey from me even if it is one ayah.” [Reported by Bukhari]
