アッラー、全能なる御方は仰せられます。{姦通に近づいてはならない。それは醜悪な行いであり、悪い道である。}（アル＝イスラー：32）

Allah, the Almighty, says, {Nor come nigh to adultery: for it is an indecent (deed) and an evil way.} (Al-Isra': 32)

コーランはまた、次のように述べている。{アッラーと共に他の神を崇拝せず、アッラーが神聖とされた命を、正当な理由なくして殺さず、また姦淫を犯さない者たち。そしてこれを行う者は、誰であれ罰を受ける。審判の日には、その者の懲罰は二倍となり、その中で屈辱のうちに永遠にとどまるであろう。}（アル＝フルカーン：68-70）

The Qur'an also states, {Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, Nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred, except for just cause, nor commit fornication,' -and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. (But) the chastisement on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy.} (Al-Furqan: 68-70)

アッラー、最も高き御方は仰せられた。{姦淫を犯した女と男は、それぞれ百回の鞭打ちを加えよ。アッラーの定めた規定において、アッラーと最後の日を信じているならば、その者たちへの憐れみに心動かされてはならない。}

Allah, the Most High, says, {The woman and the man guilty of fornication, flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day:

「そして信者の一団が、彼らへの刑罰を目撃するようにせよ」（アン＝ヌール：2）

And let a party of the believers witness their punishment.” (An-Nur: 2)

前節の刑罰は、学者たちの見解によれば、この世における未婚の姦通者にのみ関係するものです。既婚の姦通者（以前に結婚の経験があった場合も含む）の場合は、預言者（ﷺ）が定めたとおり、死に至るまで石打ちにされなければなりません。もし彼らがこの世での刑罰を逃れ、悔悟することなく死んだならば、火の鞭によって地獄の火の中で責め苦を受けることになります。
