アッラー、栄光あれかしと崇高なるお方は、警告してこう仰せられています。{そして、あなたがたは虚しいことのために、互いの財産を不正に食い尽くしてはならない。}（アル＝バカラ：188）

Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, cautions us saying, {And do not eat up your property among yourselves for vanities.} (AI-Baqarah: 188)

その節は、ムスリムがアッラーから、不正な手段で互いの財産を取ることを避けるよう命じられていることを意味しています。アブドゥッラー・イブン・アッバース（アッラーが二人ともにご満足されますように）は次のように述べました。「節で意味されているのは、ある人が正当な権利なしに他人の財産を取るための偽りの誓いのことである。」ハラーム（禁じられたもの）を消費することには二種類ある。

The verse means that Muslims are commanded by Allah to avoid taking the property of each other’s through illegal means. Abdullah Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "What is meant in the verse are the false oaths through which a person takes the property of another with no right." The consumption of Haram is of two kinds:

1) 不正な手段、例えば背信行為や強奪によって、他人の財産を奪うこと。

1) Taking another's property through oppression such as in cases of treachery and robbery.

2)ギャンブルや宝くじなど、違法な形のスポーツやゲームを通じて他者の財産を取ること。

2) Taking other's property through unlawful forms of sports and games such as gambling and the lottery.
