Les assistants sont les Wazirs que le calife nomme pour l'aider à assumer les fardeaux et les responsabilités du califat. Il existe de nombreux fardeaux au sein du califat, surtout lorsque l'État est en pleine croissance et expansion, et ceux-ci constitueraient un fardeau pesant pour le calife seul. Par conséquent, il a besoin de personnes pour l'aider à porter ce fardeau et à assumer ces responsabilités. La nomination de tels assistants est l'une des questions qui sont permis (Mubah).

The assistants are the Wazirs whom the Khaleefah appoints to assist Him in discharging the burdens and responsibilities of the Khilafah. There are numerous burdens in the Khilafah, especially when the state is growing and expanding, and these would be a heavy burden for the Khaleefah alone. Hence, He needs people to help Him in carrying this burden and discharging these responsibilities. The appointment of such assistants is one of the Mubah matters.
