Ini adalah garis besar Sistem Sosial dalam Negara Islam. Syariah dengan jelas menetapkan cara laki-laki dan perempuan seharusnya berinteraksi satu sama lain dan bagaimana mereka seharusnya mengatur hubungan mereka. Pedoman semacam itu sebagian besar tidak ada di masyarakat Barat, baik yang diatur oleh ideologi Kapitalis maupun Sosialis. Sebaliknya, kebutuhan untuk menetapkan kebijakan interaksi antara laki-laki dan perempuan diabaikan seolah-olah hal itu tidak penting. Akibatnya bagi masyarakat sangat menghancurkan.

This is an outline of the Social System of the Islamic State. The Shari‘ah clearly defines the way that men and women should interact with each other and how they should regulate their relationships. Such guidelines are largely absent in societies of the West, be they governed by Capitalist or Socialist ideologies. Instead, the need to put down a policy for interaction between men and women is ignored as if it is unimportant. The consequences of this in society are disastrous.

Hal ini menyebabkan eksploitasi terhadap laki-laki dan perempuan di segala bidang masyarakat. Masalah sosial merajalela, seperti prostitusi, aborsi yang meluas, penyakit menular seksual, pemerkosaan, perzinaan, dan pornografi, yang membuat laki-laki maupun perempuan kehilangan seluruh martabat dan kehormatan mereka. Ini hanyalah sebagian dari persoalan yang muncul di setiap masyarakat yang memiliki sistem sosial buatan manusia.

It leads to exploitation of men and women in all areas of society. Social problems are rife, such as prostitution, widespread abortion, sexually transmitted diseases, rape, adultery, pornography - where both men and women lose all dignity and honour. These are but a few of the issues that arise in any society which has a man-made social system.

Dalam Islam, peran yang benar bagi laki-laki dan perempuan ditetapkan oleh Allah (SWT), Sang Pencipta laki-laki dan perempuan. Mentalitas "kebebasan" yang berlaku di Barat digantikan oleh mentalitas tanggung jawab dan saling menghormati. Gagasan ini tampak dalam cara laki-laki dan perempuan bersikap dalam pergaulan sosial mereka.

Under Islam, the correct roles for men and women are defined by Allah (swt) the creator of men and women. The mentality of ‘freedom’ that prevails in the West is replaced by one of responsibility and mutual respect. This notion is apparent in the way in which men and women behave in their social conduct.

Peran-peran ini dan sistem-sistem yang mengatur keduanya tidak hanya tampak dalam perilaku individu, tetapi juga diterapkan oleh sistem pemerintahan, sehingga tercipta keselarasan yang sempurna antara perilaku masyarakat dan berfungsinya lingkungan di sekitar mereka. Hal ini berdampak mengangkat kondisi masyarakat dari tingkat yang paling rendah, menuju keadaan di mana martabat dan kehormatan seluruh manusia terjaga dan dihormati (sebagaimana yang akan terjadi dalam sebuah Negara Islam).

These roles, and the systems which regulate them are manifested not only in the conduct of the individuals, but are also implemented by the ruling system, such that there becomes a complete harmony between the behaviour of the people and the functioning of the environment around them. This has the effect of elevating the situation of the people from the lowest levels, to one where the dignity and honour of all human beings is preserved and respected (as would be the case in an Islamic State).
