A--- अल्लाह तआला फ़रमाता है: {उसमें (उस रात में) हर बुद्धिमत्तापूर्ण मामला तय किया जाता है। हमारी ओर से आदेश के रूप में (या इस क़ुरआन के रूप में, या हर मामले के फ़ैसले के रूप में)}। (अद-दुख़ान, 4, 5)

A--- Allah the Almighty says: {Therein (that night is decreed every matter of ordainments. As a Command (or this Qur'an or the Decree of every matter)from Us}. (Ad-Dukhan, 4, 5)

इब्न अब्बास (रज़ियल्लाहु अन्हुमा) ने कहा: लैलतुल क़द्र की रात को लौह-ए-महफ़ूज़ से (उस वर्ष के लिए) मौतें, पैदाइशें, रोज़ी, मुसीबतें आदि, यानी पूरे आने वाले साल की वे बातें जो अल्लाह की तरफ़ से तय की गई हैं, नक़ल की जाती हैं। यहाँ तक कि हज करने वालों के नाम भी (लिखे जाते हैं): कहा जाता है कि फ़ुलाँ शख़्स हज करेगा, और फ़ुलाँ शख़्स हज करेगा।

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: It is copied from AlLauh Al-Mahfuz on the Night of Might the matters of deaths, births, provisions, calamities, etc. for the whole (coming) year as decreed by Allah. Even names of the pilgrims: it is said: so and so will perform Hajj, and so and so will perform Hajj.
