अल्लाह सर्वशक्तिमान कहता है: {और वही है जिसने तुम्हारे लिए तारे बनाए, ताकि तुम उनके सहारे थल और जल के अंधकार में रास्ता पा सको} (अल-अनआम, 97)

A--- Almighty Allah says: {It is He Who has set the stars for you, so that you may guide your course with their help through the darkness of the land and the sea}. (Al-An'am,97)

अल्लाह तआला फ़रमाता है: {और निश्चय ही हमने निकटतम आसमान को दीपकों से सुशोभित किया, और उन दीपकों को शैतानों को भगाने के लिए साधन बनाया}। (अल-मुल्क, 5)

Allah the Almighty says: {And indeed We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps, and We have made such lamps (as) missiles to drive away the Shayatin (devils)}. (AlMulk, 5)

अल्लाह तआला फ़रमाता है: {और सितारे उसके हुक्म से मुसख़्ख़र किए गए हैं}। (अन-नह्ल, 13)

Allah the Almighty says: {And the stars are subjected by His Command}. (An-Nahl, 13)

अल्लाह के रसूल ﷺ ने फ़रमाया: "मुझे अपनी उम्मत (क़ौम) के बारे में केवल इस बात का डर है कि वे सितारों पर ईमान लाएँगे, तक़दीर (ईश्वरीय फ़ैसले) का इनकार करेंगे, और शासकों की ज़्यादती करेंगे।" (इसे अबू याला ने रिवायत किया है)

Abu Qatadah mentioned Allah's Statement: {And We have adorned the nearest heaven with lamps}, (V. 67: 5) and said: "The creation of these stars is for three purposes, i.e. as decoration of the (nearest)

"...आकाश की सजावट के लिए, शैतानों को मारने के लिए मिसाइलों के रूप में, और यात्रियों का मार्ग दिखाने के लिए चिह्नों के रूप में। अतः जो कोई इसकी कोई दूसरी व्याख्या खोजने का प्रयास करता है, वह भूल में है, वह अपने प्रयास को व्यर्थ गँवाता है, और उस बात में स्वयं को कष्ट देता है जो उसके सीमित ज्ञान से परे है।" (इब्न जरीर ने संकलित किया)
