A--- पहला: यह पूरी इबादत को बातिल (निरस्त) कर देता है, जैसे फज्र की नमाज़ में तीसरी रकअत जोड़ देना, मग़रिब में चौथी, या ज़ुहर की नमाज़ में पाँचवीं रकअत जोड़ देना। या उसमें से एक रकअत कम कर देना।

A--- First: it nullifies the whole act of worship such as adding a third Rak'ah to the Fajr Prayer, a fourth one to the Maghrib, or a fifth to the Zuhr Prayer. Or, such as decreasing a Rak' ah thereof.

दूसरा: यह इबादत को बातिल (निरस्त) नहीं करता, हालाँकि यह (बिदअत) है

Second: it does not nullify the act of worship though it is (Innovation)

...जैसे वह व्यक्ति जो वुज़ू में धुले जाने वाले अंगों को चौथी बार धोता है। नबी ﷺ ने यह नहीं कहा कि (उसका वुज़ू) बातिल हो जाता है, बल्कि फ़रमाया: "जो कोई इससे अधिक करे, उसने निश्चित रूप से बुरा किया, सीमा का उल्लंघन किया और ग़लत किया।" (अबू दाऊद और इब्न माजह)

itself is basically nullified. Such as the one who adds a fourth time of wash to the organs to be washed in Ablution. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) did not say it is nullified, but said: "Whosoever adds to this, he certainly did badly, transgressed and did (something) wrong." (Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah)
