A--- काहिन (भविष्यवक्ता / ज्योतिषी) ताग़ूतों में से गिने जाते हैं, जो उन शैतानों के सहायक हैं जो उन्हें प्रेरित करते हैं, जैसा कि अल्लाह सुबहानहू व तआला ने फ़रमाया: {और निश्चय ही शयातीन (शैतान) अपने मित्रों (मनुष्यों में से) को तुमसे झगड़ा करने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं, और यदि तुम उनका आज्ञापालन करोगे [अर्थात मरे हुए जानवर (मैतह) को खाना हलाल मानकर खाओगे], तो तुम निश्चय ही मुश्रिक (बहुदेववादी) हो जाओगे; [क्योंकि उन्होंने (शैतानों और उनके मित्रों ने) तुम्हारे लिए उस चीज़ को हलाल ठहराया जिसे अल्लाह ने खाने के लिए हराम किया है, और तुमने उनकी आज्ञा मानकर उसे हलाल समझा, और ऐसा करके तुमने उनकी इबादत की; और अल्लाह के सिवा किसी और की इबादत करना शिर्क है]}। (अल-अनआम, 121)

A--- Soothsayers are considered from among the Taghuts (28) who are helpers of the devils who inspire them as mentioned by Allah the Almighty: {And certainly, the Shayatin (devils) do inspire their friends (from mankind) to dispute with you, and if you obey them (by making AIMaitah (a dead animal) legal by eating it], then you would indeed be Mushrikun (polytheists); [because they (devils and their friends) made lawful to you to eat that which Allah has made unlawful to eat and you obeyed them by considering it lawful to eat, and by doing so you worshipped them; and to worship others besides Allah is polytheism]}.
