अल्लाह तआला कहता है: {और (अल्लाह का शुक्र अदा करने के) बजाय, जो रोज़ी वह तुम्हें देता है, तुम उसे झुठलाते हो (कुफ़्र करके)!} (अल-वाक़िआ, 82)

A--- Allah the Almighty says: {And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, you deny (Him by disbelief)!}. (AlWaqi' ah, 82)

सुफ़यान से वर्णित है (अल्लाह उनसे राज़ी हो): 'उबैदुल्लाह ने कहा: "मैंने इब्न अब्बास को कहते सुना, 'जाहिलियत के ज़माने के लोगों की कुछ आदतें ये थीं: (क) दूसरे ख़ानदानों के वंश पर लांछन लगाना; (ख) और मृतकों पर चीख़-चीख़कर रोना।" उबैदुल्लाह तीसरी आदत भूल गए।

Narrated Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him): 'Ubaidullah said: "I heard Ibn 'Abbas saying, "Following are some traits of the people of the pre-Islamic period of ignorance (a) to defame the ancestry of other families; (b) and to wail over the dead." 'Ubaidullah forgot the third trait.
