A ---इस्लाम धर्म वह सीधा मार्ग है जिस पर चलने का हमें आदेश दिया गया है और जिससे हटने से हमें मना किया गया है। यही वह धर्म है जिसके साथ अल्लाह ने अपने रसूलों को भेजा और अपनी किताबें उतारीं। वह अपने बंदों से इसके सिवा किसी और धर्म को स्वीकार नहीं करता, और वह उन्हीं को बचाता है जो इसका अनुसरण करते हैं। और जो कोई इसके सिवा किसी और का अनुसरण करेगा, वह निश्चित रूप से भटक जाएगा। सर्वशक्तिमान अल्लाह फ़रमाता है:

A ---The religion of Islam is the straight path we are ordered to follow and are forbidden to leave. It is the religion with which Allah sent His Messengers and revealed His Books. He accepts none but it from His slaves, and He saves none but those who follow it. And, whosoever follows other than it, he will certainly go astray. Allah the Almighty says:

{और निश्चय ही यह मेरा सीधा मार्ग है, अतः इसी का अनुसरण करो, और (दूसरे) रास्तों पर न चलो, क्योंकि वे तुम्हें उसके मार्ग से अलग कर देंगे}। (अल-अनआम, 153)

{And verily, this is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path}. (AlAn'am, 153)

नबी ﷺ ने ज़मीन पर एक लकीर खींची, फिर फ़रमाया: "यह अल्लाह का सीधा रास्ता है।" फिर उन्होंने उसकी दाईं और बाईं ओर कुछ लकीरें खींचीं और फ़रमाया: "ये (भटके हुए) रास्ते हैं, जिनमें से हर एक पर एक शैतान है जो उसकी ओर बुलाता है।" फिर नबी ﷺ ने यह आयत तिलावत फ़रमाई: {और बेशक यह मेरा सीधा रास्ता है, तो इसी पर चलो, और दूसरे रास्तों पर न चलो, वरना वे तुम्हें उसके रास्ते से अलग कर देंगे}। (सूरह अल-अनआम, 153) (अहमद और इब्न हिब्बान)

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) drew a line (on earth) then said: "This is the Straight Path of Allah.” Then, he drew lines to its right and left, and said: "These are paths, none amongst which is without a devil calling thereto." Then he (Peace be upon him) recited: {And verily, this is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path}. (Al-An'am, 153) (Ahmed and Ibn Hibban)

वह (ﷺ) कहते हैं: "अल्लाह ने एक सीधे रास्ते की मिसाल दी है..." फिर उन्होंने कहा: "वह सीधा रास्ता इस्लाम है।" (अहमद और इब्न जरीर)

He (Peace be upon him) says: "Allah set a parable of a Straight Path..” then, he said: "the Straight Path is Islam.” (Ahmed and Ibn Jarir)
