Este é um esboço do Sistema Social do Estado Islâmico. A Shari‘ah define claramente a forma como homens e mulheres devem interagir entre si e como devem regular os seus relacionamentos. Tais diretrizes estão em grande parte ausentes nas sociedades do Ocidente, quer sejam governadas por ideologias capitalistas ou socialistas. Em vez disso, a necessidade de estabelecer uma política para a interação entre homens e mulheres é ignorada, como se fosse algo sem importância. As consequências disso na sociedade são desastrosas.

This is an outline of the Social System of the Islamic State. The Shari‘ah clearly defines the way that men and women should interact with each other and how they should regulate their relationships. Such guidelines are largely absent in societies of the West, be they governed by Capitalist or Socialist ideologies. Instead, the need to put down a policy for interaction between men and women is ignored as if it is unimportant. The consequences of this in society are disastrous.

Isso leva à exploração de homens e mulheres em todas as áreas da sociedade. Problemas sociais proliferam, como prostituição, aborto generalizado, doenças sexualmente transmissíveis, estupro, adultério e pornografia, nos quais homens e mulheres perdem toda dignidade e honra. Estes são apenas alguns dos problemas que surgem em qualquer sociedade que possui um sistema social feito pelo homem.

It leads to exploitation of men and women in all areas of society. Social problems are rife, such as prostitution, widespread abortion, sexually transmitted diseases, rape, adultery, pornography - where both men and women lose all dignity and honour. These are but a few of the issues that arise in any society which has a man-made social system.

No Islã, os papéis corretos dos homens e das mulheres são definidos por Allah (SWT), o Criador dos homens e das mulheres. A mentalidade de "liberdade" que prevalece no Ocidente é substituída por uma de responsabilidade e respeito mútuo. Essa noção é evidente na maneira como homens e mulheres se comportam em sua conduta social.

Under Islam, the correct roles for men and women are defined by Allah (swt) the creator of men and women. The mentality of ‘freedom’ that prevails in the West is replaced by one of responsibility and mutual respect. This notion is apparent in the way in which men and women behave in their social conduct.

Esses papéis, e os sistemas que os regulam, manifestam-se não apenas na conduta dos indivíduos, mas também são implementados pelo sistema de governo, de modo que se estabelece uma harmonia completa entre o comportamento das pessoas e o funcionamento do ambiente que as cerca. Isso tem o efeito de elevar a situação do povo desde os níveis mais baixos, até um estado em que a dignidade e a honra de todos os seres humanos são preservadas e respeitadas (como seria o caso em um Estado Islâmico).

These roles, and the systems which regulate them are manifested not only in the conduct of the individuals, but are also implemented by the ruling system, such that there becomes a complete harmony between the behaviour of the people and the functioning of the environment around them. This has the effect of elevating the situation of the people from the lowest levels, to one where the dignity and honour of all human beings is preserved and respected (as would be the case in an Islamic State).
