10.15 Lizard Hole Cometh
No Alcorão, Allah nos deu uma descrição tão detalhada dos Banu Isra'il, dos seus crimes e das suas deficiências espirituais, porque os muçulmanos iriam espelhar a sua evolução. O conhecido hadith sobre os muçulmanos seguirem o caminho dos que os precederam, passo a passo, atesta esta triste eventualidade.
In the Quran, Allah gave us such a detailed description of Bani Isra’il and their crimes and spiritual deficiencies because the Muslims would mirror their evolution. The well-known hadith of Muslims following the path of those before them, step by step, testifies to this depressing eventuality.
“Vocês seguirão o caminho dos que vieram antes de vocês, palmo a palmo e passo a passo, a tal ponto que, se eles tivessem entrado na toca do lagarto, vocês também os seguiriam nisso.” Dissemos: “Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ, quer dizer os judeus e os cristãos?” Ele disse: “Quem mais?”
“You would walk the same path as was taken by those before you inch by inch and step by step so much so that if they had entered into the hole of the lizard, you would follow them in this also. We said: ‘Allah’s Messenger, do you mean Jews and Christians?’ He said: ‘Who else?’”
E quando olhamos ao nosso redor, vemos com a mesma clareza do dia que o Mensageiro ﷺ indubitavelmente disse a verdade. Reflita sobre os versículos pertinentes e você verá os mesmos comportamentos e ações, não com uma pequena minoria da Ummah, mas cada vez mais com a maioria dela e com os seus líderes.
And when we look around us, we see as clear as day that the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم undoubtedly spoke the truth. Reflect on the relevant ayat and you will see the same behaviors and actions, not with a small minority of the Ummah, but increasingly the majority and their leaders.

To those who are not satisfied with their religion and seek to “reform” it to their liking:
"E se vocês virarem as costas, Ele os substituirá por outro povo; e eles não serão como vocês."
“And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.”
