Não importa se você é religioso ou não, ou se acredita em Deus ou não. Não existe algo como "sexo seguro" se você não é casado. Se não há nenhum papel envolvido entre você e a pessoa com quem está dormindo, você fica à mercê dessa pessoa, e há muito pouco que alguém possa fazer para ajudá-lo caso algo aconteça, seja por acidente, de propósito ou por malícia. Isto é uma questão de vida ou morte no sentido mais literal, quer você esteja falando sobre a possibilidade de criar uma vida, ou seja, um ser humano, quer sobre a contração de doenças que ameaçam a vida, ou qualquer outro tipo de possível abuso emocional, físico ou sexual, ou todos eles juntos.

It doesn’t matter if you are religious or not, or if you believe in God or not. There is no such thing as “safe sex” if you are not married. If there is no paper involved between you and whoever you are sleeping with, you are at the mercy of that person and there is very little anyone can do to help you if something happens, be it accidental, deliberate, or malicious. This is a matter of life and death in the most literal sense, whether you are talking about the potential to create life, i.e., a human being, or the contraction of life threatening diseases, or any other kind of possible emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, or all of the above.
