Don’t let the materialistic assumptions of the modern world infect your thinking and how you live your day to day life. Don’t become cynical or complacent about this important aspect of the Unseen.

As bênçãos que Allah concede à humanidade são reais e têm impacto tangível. E sim, às vezes esse impacto não pode ser explicado em termos dos parâmetros materialistas de pensamento aos quais muitos de nós nos submetemos.

The blessings that Allah bestows on humanity are real and have tangible impact. And yes, sometimes that impact is not explainable in terms of the materialistic parameters of thought many of us have consigned ourselves to.

Não se contente em reconhecer a baraka apenas de forma teórica. Conheça-a e veja o mundo ao seu redor à luz dela.

Don’t just acknowledge baraka in a theoretical sense. Know it and see the world around you in light of it.

Como muçulmano, a baraka precisa fazer parte da forma como você enxerga o mundo. Isso lhe trará benefícios espirituais, pois você passará a buscar essa baraka e ganhará uma maior consciência do seu Senhor. Sua fé (îmân) também experimentará impulsos periódicos à medida que você começar a reconhecer o lugar da baraka (ou a sua ausência) em sua vida. Você notará que lembrar de Allah (dhikr) e praticar boas ações trazem baraka, enquanto o oposto a retira. Isso melhorará imensamente o seu estado de espírito e do coração.

As a Muslim, baraka needs to be a part of how you see the world. That will furnish you with spiritual benefits because you will be seeking that baraka and you will gain greater consciousness of your Lord. Your iman will also experience periodic boosts as you start to recognize the place of baraka (or the lack thereof) in your life. You will notice that remembering Allah (dhikr) and good deeds bring you baraka and the opposite take it away. This will immensely improve your state of mind and heart.

This is because you will see and experience the connections between the world and the will and power of Allah. These are some of the many ayat all around us.

Você também se beneficiará intelectualmente, porque passará a compreender melhor como o mundo realmente funciona. Mais uma vez, em vez de um conhecimento teórico, você terá um conhecimento experiencial, pois terá vivenciado essas coisas e as terá visto com seus próprios olhos.

You will also benefit intellectually because you will gain more of an understanding of how the world really works. Again, instead of theoretical knowledge, you will have experiential knowledge because you will have experienced these things and seen them for yourself.

Busque, portanto, a baraka em todas as muitas coisas que Allah e Seu Mensageiro ﷺ determinaram. Faça dela parte da sua vida diária e torne-a a lente pela qual você compreende a sua vida. E que Allah nos abençoe a todos.

So seek baraka in all the many things that Allah and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم have specified. Make it a part of your daily life and make it the lens by which you understand your life. And may Allah bless us all.
