آج کی دنیا استحصال، افراتفری اور مایوسی کے ایسے گڑھے میں کھڑی ہے جس کی مثال پہلے کبھی نہیں دیکھی گئی۔ ہم اپنے اردگرد ایک ایسی صورتحال دیکھتے ہیں جس پر طاقتور کا کمزور پر ظلم، امیر کا غریب کا استحصال اور جاہل کا روشن خیال پر حکمرانی حاوی ہے۔ انسانیت کو درپیش یہ المیہ ایک ہی چیز کا نتیجہ ہے—اور وہ ہے اسلام کا فقدان؛ لوگوں کے دلوں اور ذہنوں سے، اور ان نظاموں سے جو ان کی زندگیوں کو منظم کرتے ہیں۔

The world today stands in an abyss of exploitation, chaos and despair such as has never previously been witnessed. We see around us a situation dominated by the strong oppressing the weak, the rich exploiting the poor and the ignorant ruling the enlightened. The mess humanity face is a result of one thing - the absence of Islam; from the hearts and minds of people, and the systems which regulate their lives.

حالات کی یہ صورتحال مغربی دنیا میں عکاسی کرتی ہے، جہاں شہر کے اندرونی علاقوں کی گلیوں میں ایک ہی سڑک کے ایک ہی حصے میں خوشحالی اور بے گھری کا ملا جلا منظر نظر آتا ہے۔ جہاں کچھ لوگ پرتعیش گاڑیوں میں گھومتے ہیں اور پینٹ ہاؤسز میں رہتے ہیں، وہیں دوسروں کو کھانے کے لیے کوڑے دانوں میں خوراک تلاش کرنی پڑتی ہے۔ بوڑھے لوگوں کو بغیر کسی مال و دولت کے گلیوں میں بھٹکتے ہوئے دیکھا جا سکتا ہے، جو محض ایک کپ چائے کے لیے بھی اپنی اشیاء فروخت کرنے پر مجبور ہیں۔ پانی، گیس اور بجلی جیسی بنیادی ضروریات کا کنٹرول لالچی افراد اور کمپنیوں کے ہاتھوں میں ہے، جو اپنی خدمات کے لیے بھاری فیس وصول کرتے ہیں۔ یہ سب حکومتی سطح پر بدانتظامی کے سنگین نتائج ہیں۔

This state of affairs is epitomised in the Western world, whose inner city streets are characterised by affluence and homelessness in the same stretch of road. While some people drive luxury cars and live in penthouses, others have to scavenge in dustbins for food to eat. Old people can be seen wandering the streets with no money, selling their possessions just to raise enough money for a cup of tea. The control of basic necessities like water, gas and electricity lie in the hands of greedy individuals and companies, who charge exorbitantly for their services. These are all consequences of gross mis-management at a governmental level.

بلاشبہ، سیاسی میدان میں بدعنوانی اور استحصال پوری دنیا میں ایک معمول بن چکا ہے، اور ان نام نہاد 'مسلم' ممالک میں تو یہ صورتحال اپنے کٹھ پتلی حکمرانوں کی وجہ سے مزید سنگین ہے۔ یہاں غربت ہر جگہ موجود ہے، اور فاقہ کشی، سیاسی جبر اور جرم زندگی گزارنے کا ایک طریقہ بن چکے ہیں۔ سیاست دان لوگوں کو دھوکہ دینے کے لیے جھوٹ بولتے اور چھیڑ چھاڑ کرتے ہیں تاکہ وہ ان کی حمایت کریں، جبکہ وہ ذاتی مفاد اور اقتدار کے حصول کے اپنے اصل عزائم کو چھپائے رکھتے ہیں۔ بہت کم استثنائی صورتوں کے علاوہ، عوام کی فلاح و بہبود کے لیے ان کی فکر ان کی اس خواہش سے مائل ہوتی ہے جس کا مقصد اس موجودہ نظام (status quo) کو برقرار رکھنا ہے جو انہوں نے خود تخلیق کیا ہے۔

Indeed, corruption and exploitation in the political arena has become the norm throughout the world, even moreso in the so called ‘Muslim’ countries with their puppet rulers. Here, poverty is ubiquitous, and starvation, political oppression and crime have become like a way of life. Politicians lie and cheat in order to dupe the people into supporting them, while hiding their real ambitions of personal gain and the quest for power. Their concern for the welfare of the masses, with very few exceptions, is directed by their desire to maintain the status quo which they have created.

سماجی سطح پر ہم دیکھتے ہیں کہ انسانیت خود کو پہلے سے کہیں زیادہ پست درجوں تک گرا چکی ہے۔ یہ اس مقام پر پہنچ چکی ہے جہاں وہ چیزیں جنہیں کبھی گھناؤنی حرکتیں سمجھا جاتا تھا، جیسے کہ ہم جنس پرستی، فحاشی اور منشیات کا استعمال، اب کھلم کھلا برداشت کی جا رہی ہیں اور بعض اقوام میں تو یہ مکمل طور پر قانونی بھی ہیں۔

On a social level, we see that humanity has dragged itself to lower levels then ever before. It has come to the point where things which were once seen as abominations, such as homosexuality, prostitution and drug abuse, are openly tolerated and in some nations are even perfectly legal.

بدقسمتی سے، اس قسم کا انحطاط آمیز رویہ پوری دنیا میں دیکھا جا سکتا ہے۔ مغربی سرمایہ دارانہ طرزِ زندگی کی سطحی اور تباہ کن نوعیت، جو کہ ایک ایسا نمونہ اور حتمی معیار بن چکی ہے جس کے ذریعے پوری دنیا اپنے 'تہذیب' کے معیار کا فیصلہ کرتی ہے، بنی نوع انسان، ماحول اور یہاں تک کہ جانوروں کے لیے مصیبت کے سوا کچھ پیدا نہیں کر رہی۔

Sadly, this type of degenerate behaviour can be seen all across the globe. The shallowness and destructive nature of the Western Capitalist way of life, which has become the role model and the absolute standard by which the whole world judges its level of ‘civilisation’, is producing nothing but misery for mankind, the environment and even the animals.

تاہم، ایجنڈے کو کنٹرول کرنے والوں یعنی حکومتوں، سیاست دانوں، میڈیا وغیرہ کا تکبر بے حد ہے۔ وہ اپنے اعمال کو 'جمہوریت' اور 'آزادی' جیسے نعروں کی آڑ میں جائز قرار دیتے ہیں، جن کے بارے میں ہم آگے دیکھیں گے کہ ان کی کوئی حقیقت نہیں ہے اور وہ عقل کے امتحان پر پورا نہیں اترتے۔ اپنے نقشِ قدم چھپانے کے لیے، حکمرانوں نے عوام کے ذہنوں کو دھندلا دینے کی کوشش کی ہے تاکہ انہیں اپنے گرد و پیش پھیلی ہوئی بدحالی اور زوال کی حقیقت کو تسلیم کرنے سے روکا جا سکے۔ معاشرتی مسائل کو سستی فرار پسندی اور صارفانہ تسکین کی ایک سطحی اور غیر فکری ذہنیت کے ذریعے نظر انداز کر دیا جاتا ہے۔ اسی لیے فلموں، کھیلوں، قومی قرعہ اندازیوں، موسیقی وغیرہ میں مصروفیت برقرار رکھی جاتی ہے۔ یہ سب اس لیے موجود ہیں تاکہ یہ یقینی بنایا جا سکے کہ لوگوں کے پاس اپنے ماحول کی حقیقت پر غور و فکر کرنے کے لیے نہ تو وقت ہو اور نہ ہی رغبت۔

Yet the arrogance of those who control the agenda - the governments, the politicians the media etc. knows no bounds. They justify their actions under the guise of slogans such as ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom’, which as we shall come to see, hold no reality and do not stand up to the test of reason. To cover up their tracks, those in authority have endeavoured to befog the minds of the masses, to prevent them from acknowledging the reality of the mess and decline around them. The problems of society are glossed over with a shallow, non-thinking mentality of cheap escapism and consumer gratification. Hence, the pre-occupation with films, sports, national lotteries, music and so on. These all exist to ensure that the people do not have the time, or the inclination, to contemplate the reality of their surroundings.

درحقیقت، کفر کی فطرت ہی باطل کو فروغ دینا اور حق کو چھپانا ہے۔ دورِ حاضر کے معاشرے کے وہ وہم اور دھوکے ان سے مختلف نہیں ہیں جن کا سامنا تمام زمانوں میں انبیاء اور رسولوں کو کرنا پڑا۔ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ کے تمام انبیاء، جن کی انتہا آخری رسول محمد ﷺ پر ہوئی، باطل کو بے نقاب کرنے اور اسے مٹانے اور حق کو قائم کرنے کے لیے آئے۔

In fact, it is the nature of kufr, to promote falsehood and disguise the truth. The illusions and deceptions of modern day society are no different to those which were encountered by the prophets and messengers throughout time. All the prophets of Allah (swt), culminating in the last messenger Muhammad (saw) came to expose and destroy falsehood and to establish the truth.

حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے زمانے میں ہم دیکھتے ہیں کہ فرعون نے اپنے درباری جادوگروں کو ان کے جادو کے کرتبوں کے ذریعے لوگوں کو غلام بنانے اور ان پر تسلط حاصل کرنے کے لیے استعمال کیا، تاکہ انہیں یہ دھوکہ دے کر یہ باور کرایا جا سکے کہ وہ ناقابلِ تسخیر ہے اور اس کے پاس خدائی جیسی اتھارٹی ہے۔ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: ”انہوں نے لوگوں کی آنکھوں پر جادو کر ڈالا اور انہیں خوفزدہ کر دیا کیونکہ انہوں نے جادو کا ایک بڑا (کرشمہ) دکھایا۔“ [TMQ 7:116] موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے اس عصا کے ذریعے ان کی باطل باتوں کو مٹا دیا جو اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ نے انہیں عطا فرمایا تھا۔ اللہ سبحانہ و تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: ”اور ہم نے موسیٰ (کی طرف وحی کی) کہ اپنا عصا پھینک دو! تو دیکھو! اس نے ان کے جھوٹے کرتبوں کو نگل لیا۔ یوں حق ثابت ہو گیا اور وہ سب کچھ جو وہ کر رہے تھے، باطل ہو گیا۔“ [TMQ 7:117] آج کے فرعونوں کے جادوگر بتوں، پاپ اور فلمی ستاروں اور سیاست دانوں کی صورت میں دوبارہ جنم لے چکے ہیں جن میں یہ گستاخی ہے کہ وہ فاسد اور استحصال پر مبنی سرمایہ دارانہ سیاسی فکر کی تبلیغ کریں۔ ان کے چمکدار الفاظ اور ظاہری، سطحی خیالات ایک انسانی ساختہ، غیر اسلامی طرزِ زندگی کی گرتی ہوئی دیواروں کو چھپانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔

In the time of Moses (as) we see that the Pharaoh used his court magicians with their magic tricks to enslave and subjugate the people, by deluding them into thinking that he was invincible, and had god-like authority. Allah (swt) said, “They bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them for they showed a great (feat) of magic.” [TMQ 7:116] Moses (as) destroyed their falsehood with the staff that Allah (swt) provided him. Allah (swt) says, “And we inspired Moses (saying) : Throw thy staff! And lo! it swallowed up their lying show. Thus the Truth was vindicated and that which they were doing was made vain.” [TMQ 7:117] Today’s Pharaohs’ magicians are reborn as idols, pop and film stars and politicians who have the audacity to propagate the corrupted and exploitative Capitalist political thought. Their glossy words and cosmetic, superficial ideas try to hide the crumbling walls of a manmade, non- Islamic way of life.
