10.15 Lizard Hole Cometh
কুরআনে আল্লাহ বনী ইসরাঈলের এত বিস্তারিত বিবরণ, তাদের অপরাধ ও আধ্যাত্মিক দুর্বলতার কথা দিয়েছেন, কারণ মুসলিমরা তাদের বিবর্তনের প্রতিফলন ঘটাবে। পূর্ববর্তী জাতিগুলোর পথ ধাপে ধাপে অনুসরণ করা সম্পর্কে প্রসিদ্ধ হাদীসটি এই হতাশাজনক সম্ভাবনার সাক্ষ্য দেয়।
In the Quran, Allah gave us such a detailed description of Bani Isra’il and their crimes and spiritual deficiencies because the Muslims would mirror their evolution. The well-known hadith of Muslims following the path of those before them, step by step, testifies to this depressing eventuality.
“তোমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পথ অনুসরণ করবে, বিঘতে বিঘতে ও হাতে হাতে, এমনকি তারা যদি গুইসাপের গর্তে ঢুকে থাকে, তোমরাও সেখানে ঢুকবে। আমরা বললাম: ‘আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ, আপনি কি ইহুদি ও খ্রিস্টানদের কথা বলছেন?’ তিনি বললেন: ‘তাদের ছাড়া আর কারা?’”
“You would walk the same path as was taken by those before you inch by inch and step by step so much so that if they had entered into the hole of the lizard, you would follow them in this also. We said: ‘Allah’s Messenger, do you mean Jews and Christians?’ He said: ‘Who else?’”
আর আমরা নিজেদের চারপাশে তাকালে দিনের আলোর মতো স্পষ্ট দেখতে পাই যে রাসূলুল্লাহ ﷺ নিঃসন্দেহে সত্য বলেছিলেন। প্রাসঙ্গিক আয়াতসমূহ নিয়ে চিন্তা করুন, তাহলে দেখবেন একই আচরণ ও কর্ম দেখা যাচ্ছে — উম্মতের একটি ক্ষুদ্র সংখ্যালঘুর মধ্যে নয়, বরং ক্রমেই সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ অংশ এবং তাদের নেতাদের মধ্যে।
And when we look around us, we see as clear as day that the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم undoubtedly spoke the truth. Reflect on the relevant ayat and you will see the same behaviors and actions, not with a small minority of the Ummah, but increasingly the majority and their leaders.
যারা তাদের দ্বীনের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট নন এবং নিজেদের মনমতো একে "সংস্কার" করতে চান, তাদের প্রতি:
To those who are not satisfied with their religion and seek to “reform” it to their liking:
"আর যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের স্থলে অন্য এক জাতিকে আনবেন; তারা তোমাদের মতো হবে না।"
“And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.”
