[Ṣāliḥ:] Cada vez que me enfermaba, mi padre tomaba una taza de agua, recitaba algo sobre ella, y luego me pedía que bebiera un poco y me lavara las manos y la cara con ella. 24.1

[Ṣāliḥ:] Whenever I got sick my father would take a cup of water and recite something over it, then tell me to drink some of it and wash my hands and face in it. 24.1

[ʿAbd Allāh:] Vi a mi padre tomar uno de los cabellos del Profeta ﷺ, colocarlo sobre su boca y besarlo. Puede que también lo viera colocarlo sobre sus ojos, mojarlo en agua y luego beber el agua como remedio. En una ocasión vi cómo tomaba el recipiente del Profeta ﷺ, lo lavaba en la tinaja de agua y bebía de él. Y en más de una ocasión lo vi beber agua del pozo de Zamzam para curarse, y frotársela en las manos y en el rostro. 24.2

[ʿAbd Allāh:] I saw my father take one of the Prophet’s hairs, place it over his mouth, and kiss it. I may have seen him place it over his eyes, and dip it in water and then drink the water for a cure. Once I saw him take the Prophet’s bowl, wash it in the water jar, and drink from it. And more than once I saw him drink water from the well of Zamzam152 for a cure, and rub it on his hands and face. 24.2
