আল-কাদার (তাকদীর) বিষয়ে ঈমান আনা চার স্তরে বিভক্ত।

A--- Affirming faith in the Divine Decree is of four ranks:

প্রথম স্তর: আল্লাহর সর্বব্যাপী জ্ঞানের প্রতি ঈমান আনয়ন।

First rank: Affirming faith in Allah's Knowledge that covers everything.

আণুর ওজন বা একটি ছোট পিঁপড়ার ওজন, অথবা তার চেয়ে কম বা বেশি, আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর কোনো কিছুই তাঁর জ্ঞানের বাইরে নেই। তাঁর সৃষ্টিকুলকে সৃষ্টি করার আগেই তিনি তাদের সম্পর্কে সব জানতেন: তাদের রিযিক, নির্ধারিত সময়সীমা, তাদের কথা, কাজ, চলাফেরা, গোপন ও প্রকাশ্য আলাপ-আলোচনা, তাদের মধ্যে জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী এবং জান্নাতের অধিবাসীদের সম্পর্কেও।

Not even the weight of an atom (or a small ant) or less than that or greater in the heavens or the earth escapes His Knowledge. He knew all about His creatures before creating them: their sustenance, appointed terms, sayings, deeds, moves, secrets and public conferences, the residents of Hell from among them and also the residents of Paradise.

দ্বিতীয় স্তর: এ সবকিছু (এবং অন্যান্য কিছু) পূর্বনির্ধারণ (তাকদীর)-এর প্রতি ঈমান

Second rank: Affirming faith in the Prerecording of all these (and others)

এবং এটাও যে, তিনি সেই সবকিছু লিপিবদ্ধ করেছেন ও লিখে রেখেছেন যা বিদ্যমান হবে বা ঘটবে। এর মধ্যে আল-লাওহ আল-মাহফূয (তাকদীরের কিতাব)-এর প্রতি ঈমান আনাও অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

and that He recorded and wrote down all that will exist or take place. This also covers affirming faith in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (the Book of Decrees).

তৃতীয় স্তর: আল্লাহর সর্বব্যাপী ইচ্ছা (মাশিআত) এবং তাঁর সর্বব্যাপী ক্ষমতা (কুদরত)-এর প্রতি ঈমান আনা, এবং এ দুটি যে পরস্পর সম্পর্কযুক্ত তা স্বীকার করা। যা হয়েছে এবং যা হবে, সে বিষয়ে উভয়ের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক রয়েছে; আর যা হয়নি এবং যা হবে না, সে বিষয়ে তাদের মধ্যে কোনো সম্পর্ক নেই। কারণ আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা করেন, তা অবশ্যই হয়; আর যা তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন না, তা হয় না, তাঁর অনিচ্ছার কারণে, তার উপর তাঁর ক্ষমতার অভাবের কারণে নয়। আল্লাহ বলেন: {আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর কোনো কিছু তাঁকে অক্ষম করে দেয়। নিশ্চয়ই তিনি সর্বজ্ঞ, সর্বশক্তিমান}। (ফাত্বির, ৪৪)

Third rank: Affirming faith in the Penetrative Will of Allah and His Comprehensive Omnipotence and that both are correlative. Both are correlative in regard with what had been and what would be, and there in no correlation between them in regard with what had not been or what would not be. For what is ever willed by Allah, it Allah, it would not certainly be, due to His Unwillingness and not to the lack of His Omnipotence over it. Allah says: {Allah is not such that anything in the heavens or in the earth escapes Him. Verily, He is AllKnowing, All-Omnipotent}. (Fatir, 44)

চতুর্থ স্তর: মহান আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আনা, যিনি সকল কিছুর স্রষ্টা। আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীতে একটি অণুর ওজন (বা একটি ছোট পিঁপড়ার ওজন), এর চেয়ে কম বা বেশি, এমন কিছুই নেই যা তাঁর দ্বারা সৃষ্ট নয়। তিনি পবিত্র, তিনি ছাড়া কোনো স্রষ্টা নেই, কোনো প্রতিপালক নেই।

Fourth rank: Affirming faith in Allah the Almighty, the Creature of everything. And that not even the weight of an atom (or a small ant) or less than that or greater in the heavens or in the earth but is created by Him. Glory is His, there is neither creator, nor Lord but He.
