এ--- আল্লাহ সুবহানাহু ওয়া তা'আলা বলেন: {জেনে রাখো, তাদের অশুভ লক্ষণ তো আল্লাহরই কাছে, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না}। (আল-আ'রাফ, ১৩১)

A--- Allah the Almighty says: {Verily, their evil omens are with Allah but most of them know not}. (Al-A'raf, 131)

আবু হুরায়রা (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) বর্ণনা করেন: আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ বলেছেন: "কোনো সংক্রমণ নেই (আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা ছাড়া নিজে নিজে), কোনো সফর (অশুভ) নেই, কোনো হামা নেই।" এক বেদুইন আরব বলল:

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: "There is no infection (by itself without the Will of Allah), no Safar, no Hamah.” A desert Arab said:

"হে আল্লাহর রাসূল, তাহলে উটের কী হলো যে বালুতে থাকার সময় সেগুলো হরিণের মতো থাকে, তারপর একটি খোসপাঁচড়াযুক্ত উট তাদের সাথে মিশলে সেগুলোও খোসপাঁচড়ায় আক্রান্ত হয়?" তিনি (নবী ﷺ) বললেন: "প্রথমটিকে কে সংক্রমিত করেছিল?" (বুখারী ও মুসলিম)

'Allah's Messenger, how is it that when the camel is in the sand it is like a deer, then a camel afflicted with scab mixes with it and it is affected by scab?' He (the Prophet) said: "Who infected the first one?" (Bukhari and Muslim)

আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ বলেছেন: "ভাগ্য-গণনা (তিয়ারা) শিরক, ভাগ্য-গণনা শিরক।" (আবূ দাঊদ, আত-তিরমিযী, ইবনু মাজাহ ও আল-হাকিম) তিনি ﷺ বলেছেন: "যাকে ভাগ্য-গণনা কোনো কাজ থেকে বিরত রাখে, সে শিরক করল।" তারা জিজ্ঞেস করল: "এর কাফফারা কী?" তিনি ﷺ বললেন: "তুমি বলবে: হে আল্লাহ! তোমার কল্যাণ ছাড়া কোনো কল্যাণ নেই, তোমার শুভ-লক্ষণ ছাড়া কোনো শুভ-লক্ষণ নেই, এবং তুমি ছাড়া কোনো ইলাহ নেই।" (ইমাম আহমাদ)

Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: "Divination is polytheism, divination is polytheism.” (Abu Dawud, At- Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Al-- Hakim) He (Peace be upon him) says: "Whomsoever is prevented from doing something by Divination, he is a polytheist." They said: "What is the expiation for this?" He (Peace be upon him) said: "That you may say: O Allah! There is no good but Yours, no good omen but Yours, and no god but You." (Imam Ahmed)

আনাস (রাযিয়াল্লাহু আনহু) বর্ণনা করেন: "আল্লাহর রাসূল ﷺ বলেছেন: কোনো সংক্রামক ব্যাধি নেই, কোনো গণনা বা ভবিষ্যদ্বাণীও নেই, তবে শুভ লক্ষণ আমাকে আনন্দিত করে, অর্থাৎ উত্তম কথা বা সুন্দর বাক্য।" (বুখারী ও মুসলিম)

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: "Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: There is no transitive disease, no divination, but good omen pleases me, i.e. the good word or the fair word.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
