আ'রাফের উপর থাকবে কিছু লোক (যাদের ভালো ও মন্দ কাজ সমান পাল্লায়), যারা প্রত্যেককে তাদের চিহ্ন দেখে চিনবে (জান্নাতবাসীদের তাদের সাদা মুখের দ্বারা এবং জাহান্নামবাসীদের তাদের কালো মুখের দ্বারা), তারা জান্নাতবাসীদের ডেকে বলবে, "সালামুন আলাইকুম" (তোমাদের উপর শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক), আর তখনও তারা (আ'রাফের লোকেরা) জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করেনি, তবে তারা নিশ্চিতভাবে তাতে প্রবেশের আশা করবে। আর যখন তাদের দৃষ্টি জাহান্নামবাসীদের দিকে ফেরানো হবে, তখন তারা বলবে: "হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমাদের যালিমদের (মুশরিক ও অন্যায়কারীদের) সঙ্গে রেখো না।" আর আ'রাফের লোকেরা সেসব লোকদের ডেকে বলবে, যাদের তারা তাদের চিহ্ন দেখে চিনবে: "তোমাদের বিপুল সংখ্যা (ও ধনসম্পদের স্তূপ) এবং তোমাদের অহংকার (ঈমানের বিরুদ্ধে) তোমাদের কোনো কাজে আসেনি। এরাই কি তারা, যাদের সম্পর্কে তোমরা শপথ করে বলতে যে, আল্লাহ তাদের কখনো রহমত দেবেন না?" (বলা হবে): "তোমরা জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করো, তোমাদের কোনো ভয় নেই এবং তোমরা দুঃখিতও হবে না।" (সূরা আ'রাফ, ৪৬-৪৯) (গ) এমন একদল মানুষ যারা প্রধান প্রধান গুনাহ করতে অটল থাকা অবস্থায় আল্লাহর সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করবে, আর তারা মূলত তাওহীদে বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

Are they those, of whom you swore that Allah would never show them mercy; (Behold! It has been said to them): Enter Paradise, no fear shall be on you, nor shall you grieve}. (Al-A'raf, 46- 49) (c) A group of people who meets Allah while they insist on committing major sins and they are basically from among the people of Monotheism.

এবং যাদের ভালো কাজ তাদের মন্দ কাজের চেয়ে বেশি, তারা তাদের পাপের গুরুত্ব অনুযায়ী জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে: তাদের কিছু লোককে তাদের গোড়ালি পর্যন্ত আগুন গ্রাস করবে, কিছু লোককে তাদের পা পর্যন্ত, কিছু লোককে তাদের হাঁটু পর্যন্ত, আর কিছু লোককে কপাল ছাড়া বাকি অংশ আগুন গ্রাস করবে (যে স্থানে তারা সালাতে সিজদা করে)। সর্বশেষ শ্রেণির লোক হলো তারা, যাদের অন্তরে আল্লাহ তা'আলা যার ইচ্ছা করবেন তার জন্য মুহাম্মাদ ﷺ-এর শাফাআত সম্ভব করবেন, সঙ্গে অন্যান্য নবী, ফেরেশতা এবং যাদের তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন তাদের শাফাআতও। তিনি তাদের জন্য একটি সীমা নির্ধারণ করবেন, যাদের তারা জাহান্নাম থেকে বের করে আনবে। এরপর তিনি তাদের জন্য আরও কম কঠোর আরেকটি সীমা নির্ধারণ করবেন, যাদের তারা জাহান্নাম থেকে বের করে আনবে, ইত্যাদি। এভাবে তারা জাহান্নাম থেকে বের করে আনবে সেই ব্যক্তিকে, যার অন্তরে এক দীনার পরিমাণ ভালো কাজ রয়েছে, এবং আরও কম, এমনকি শেষ পর্যন্ত যার অন্তরে বিন্দুমাত্র ভালো কাজও থাকবে না।

And, whose good deeds outweigh their bad ones, those would enter Hell in accordance with the seriousness of their sins: some of them would be taken by Fire till their heels, some till their legs, some till their knees, and some of them would be taken by fire except their forehead (the place on which they prostrate themselves in prayer). The last category are those in their right Allah the Almighty will make Muhammad's Intercession possible, along with the intercession of other Prophets, angels and whom He wills. He would set for them a limit whom they take out from Hell. Then, He would set for them a less-restricted limit of whom they take out from Hell, etc. Till they would take out from Hell whomsoever has in his heart what equals the weight of a Dinar of good, and less and less, till there would be no good at all in his heart.
