এ--- আল্লাহ, মহিমান্বিত, বলেন: {কিন্তু আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাছে ঈমানকে প্রিয় করে দিয়েছেন এবং তা তোমাদের অন্তরে সুশোভিত করেছেন}। (সূরা আল-হুজুরাত, ৭)

A--- Allah, the Almighty says: {But Allah has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts}. (Al-Hujurat, 7)

আল্লাহ বলেন: {অতএব তোমরা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনো, (মুহাম্মাদ (Peace be upon him))}। (সূরা আল-আ'রাফ, ১৫৮)

Allah says: {So believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad (Peace be upon him))}. (Al-A'raf, 158)

এ দুই সাক্ষ্যের অর্থ, যা ছাড়া কাউকে মুসলিম বলে গণ্য করা যায় না। তদুপরি, ঈমান অন্তরে অনুভব করতে হবে এবং মুখে উচ্চারণ করে প্রকাশ করতে হবে; এটি উপকারী হওয়ার জন্য উভয়কে একসাথে থাকতে হবে। আল্লাহ, মহিমান্বিত ও পরাক্রমশালী, বলেন: {আর আল্লাহ তোমাদের ঈমান বিনষ্ট করবেন না}। (আল-বাকারাহ, ১৪৩) অর্থাৎ কিবলা পরিবর্তনের পূর্বে বায়তুল মুকাদ্দাসের দিকে মুখ করে তোমাদের আদায় করা সালাত।ﷺ (১৩)

This is the meaning of the two testimonies without which one cannot be regarded a Muslim. Moreover, Faith must be felt in the heart and expressed by word of mouth; for it to be useful, the two must go together. Allah, the Almighty says: {And Allah would never make your 'Faith' to be lost}. (Al-Baqarah, 143) i.e. your 'Prayers' offered towards Jerusalem before the conversion of the Qiblah (13).

নামাযকে ঈমান বলা হয়, কারণ এর আদায়ে অন্তর, মুখের কথা এবং অঙ্গ-প্রত্যঙ্গ—তিনটিই অংশগ্রহণ করে।

Prayers are referred to as Faith because their performance involves the heart, words of mouth and limbs.

নবী (ﷺ) ঈমানের কিছু নিদর্শন হিসেবে নিম্নোক্ত বিষয়গুলোকে উল্লেখ করেছেন: জিহাদ এবং কদরের রাতে নামাজ আদায় করা।14

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) declared the following to be some of the proofs of one's Faith: Jihad, observing prayers during the Night of Qadr (Power)14

রমযান মাসে রোযা রাখা, এই মাসের রাতে তারাবীহর সালাত আদায় করা, এবং পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত ফরয সালাত যথাযথভাবে আদায় করা।

, fasting during the month of Ramadan, praying at night during this month, and performing the five compulsory Prayers properly.

এছাড়াও, একবার নবী ﷺ-কে সর্বোত্তম আমল সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হলো। তিনি বললেন: "আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনা।"

Moreover, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) was once asked about the best of all deeds. He said: "To believe in Allah and His Messenger".
