Q 176: What is the Nushrah?
A--- নুশরাহ হলো কোনো ব্যক্তির উপর আক্রান্ত জাদু (তাবিজ/মন্ত্র) দূর করা। যদি এটি জাদুবিদ্যা বা অনুরূপ কোনো উপায়ে করা হয়, তবে তা শয়তানি কাজ। কিন্তু যদি তা রুকইয়াহ (২৭) দ্বারা করা হয়, যা রোগ নিরাময়ের উপায় হিসেবে পাঠ করা হয়, তাতে কোনো দোষ নেই।
A--- The Nushrah is to remove the charm someone is affected with. If this is done through sorcery or the like, it is then a devilish piece of work. But, if it is done through Ruqyah (27) that is recited as a means of curing disease, there is no harm in that.
(২৭) অর্থাৎ ঐশী বাণী (কুরআন) তেলাওয়াত করা হয় রোগ নিরাময়ের উপায় হিসেবে। এটি এক ধরনের চিকিৎসা, অর্থাৎ সূরা আল-ফাতিহা বা মহিমান্বিত কুরআনের অন্য যেকোনো সূরা তেলাওয়াত করে লালাসহ ফুঁ দেওয়া, রোগীর শরীরের কোনো অঙ্গে। (অনুবাদক)
(27) i.e. Divine Speech recited as a means of curing disease. It is a kind of treatment, i.e. to recite Surah AI-Fatihah or any other Surah of the Glorious Qur'an and then blow one's breath with salvia over a sick person's body-part. (Translator)
