ফেরেশতারা বহু প্রকারের, যাদের মধ্যে প্রধান হলেন:

A--- Angels are of many kinds, foremost among which are:

যিনি আল্লাহর রাসূলগণের (তাঁদের সকলের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক) কাছে ওহী পৌঁছে দেওয়ার দায়িত্বে নিয়োজিত। তিনি জিবরাঈল (গ্যাব্রিয়েল) (তাঁর প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক)।

The one charged with conveying the Revelation to Allah's Messengers (Peace be upon them all). He is Jibril (Gabriel (Peace be upon him)).

বৃষ্টির দায়িত্বে নিয়োজিত (ফেরেশতা)। তিনি মিকাঈল (আলাইহিস সালাম)।

The one charged with rain. He is Michael (Peace be upon him).

"ধনুক"-এর দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত তিনি। তিনি হলেন ইসরাফীল (আলাইহিস সালাম)।

The one charged with the Bow. He is Israfil (Peace be upon him).

যিনি রূহ কবজ করার দায়িত্বে আছেন, অর্থাৎ মালাকুল মাউত (মৃত্যুর ফেরেশতা) এবং তার সহকারীগণ।

The one charged with seizing the souls (death) i.e. the Angel of Death and his assistants.

যারা সৃষ্টির কৃতকর্ম ও কাজকর্ম লিপিবদ্ধ করার দায়িত্বে নিয়োজিত। তারা হলেন সম্মানিত লেখক, যারা কর্মসমূহ লিখে রাখেন।

Those charged with (writing) the creatures' deeds and acts. They are the Honorable writers who write the deeds down.

যাদেরকে সামনে ও পেছন থেকে সৃষ্টিকে রক্ষার দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। তারা হলেন পর্যায়ক্রমে আগত ফেরেশতাগণ। যাদেরকে জান্নাত ও তার নিয়ামতের দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। তারা হলেন রিদওয়ান ও তাঁর সহকারীগণ।

Those charged with guarding the creature from before and behind. They are the Angels in succession. Those charged with Paradise and its blessings. They are Ridwan and his assistants.

যাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আগুন ও তার শাস্তির দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছে। তারা হলেন মালিক এবং তাঁর সহকারীরা।

Those charged with the Hell-Fire and its torment. They are Malik and his assistants.

যাদের উপর কবরের পরীক্ষা ও শাস্তির দায়িত্ব অর্পিত, তারা হলেন মুনকার ও নাকির।

Those charged with the trial and torment of the grave. They are Munkar and Nakir.

যারা মহান আল্লাহর আরশ বহন করেন। আর যারা মাতৃগর্ভে মিশ্র শুক্রবিন্দু (পুরুষ ও নারীর যৌন নির্গমনের মিশ্রণ) নিয়ে নিয়োজিত থাকেন এবং প্রত্যেক মানুষের তাকদীর লিপিবদ্ধ করেন।

Those who carry the Throne of Allah the Almighty. Those charged with Nutfahs (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge) in the wombs and writing the destiny of every human being.

যারা আল-বাইতুল মা'মূর (কা'বার সরাসরি উপরে আকাশে অবস্থিত ঘর, যেখানে ফেরেশতারা অবিরাম যাতায়াত করেন) তে প্রবেশ করে।

Those who enter AI-Bait AI-Ma `mur (the house over the heavens parallel to the Ka`bah at Mecca, continuously visited by the angels).

যারা আল্লাহ তাআলার যিকিরের মজলিসসমূহ পর্যবেক্ষণ ও পরিদর্শন করার দায়িত্বে নিয়োজিত। যারা সারিবদ্ধভাবে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে, আর তাদের কখনোই বিশ্রাম থাকে না।

Those charged with watching and visiting the sessions of the Remembrance of Allah the Almighty. Those who are ranked in rows standing and they never ever have rest.

যারা রুকূতে সারিবদ্ধভাবে নত হয়ে থাকে, আর কখনোই তারা মাথা তোলে না।

Those who are ranked in rows in Ruku’ kneeling down and they never ever raise their heads.

এবং অন্য আরও অনেক ধরনের সৃষ্টি রয়েছে, {আর তোমার প্রতিপালকের বাহিনী সম্পর্কে তিনি ছাড়া কেউ জানে না। আর এটি (জাহান্নাম) একটি সতর্কবার্তা ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়}

And so many other kinds, {And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He. And this (Hell) is nothing else than a (warning)
