এ--- বৈধ রুকইয়াহ কেবল মহান কুরআন ও নবীর সুন্নাহর কিছু অংশ নিয়ে গঠিত, যা আরবি ভাষায় উচ্চারণ করা হয়, এবং যে এগুলো পাঠ করে এবং যার উপর পাঠ করা হয় উভয়েই বিশ্বাস করে যে আল্লাহর অনুমতি ছাড়া এগুলোর কোনো কার্যকারিতা থাকতে পারে না। জিবরাঈল (আলাইহিস সালাম) নবী মুহাম্মাদ ﷺ-এর জন্য রুকইয়াহ করেছিলেন, এবং নবী ﷺ নিজেও তাঁর অনেক সম্মানিত সাহাবীর জন্য তা করেছিলেন এবং তাঁদের তা করতে নিষেধ করেননি। বরং তিনি তাঁদের তা করার নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলেন এবং এর বিনিময়ে পারিশ্রমিক গ্রহণের অনুমতি দিয়েছিলেন। এ সবকিছু সহীহ বুখারী ও সহীহ মুসলিম—এই দুই সহীহ গ্রন্থে পাওয়া যায়।

A--- The lawful Ruqyah comprises only parts of the Glorious Qur'an and the Prophetic Sunnah, pronounced in Arabic, while the one who recites them and on whom they are recited believe in that they can not be effective unless by Allah's Leave. Gabriel (Peace be upon him) practiced Ruqyah for the sake of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) who did the same to many of his honorable companions and did not prevent them from practicing it. Rather, he ordered them to practice it and allowed them to receive payment thereto. All this can be found in the two Sahihs:
