[সালিহ:] যখনই আমি অসুস্থ হতাম, আমার বাবা এক কাপ পানি নিয়ে তার উপর কিছু দোয়া পড়তেন, তারপর আমাকে সেই পানি থেকে কিছুটা পান করতে এবং তা দিয়ে হাত ও মুখ ধুতে বলতেন। 24.1

[Ṣāliḥ:] Whenever I got sick my father would take a cup of water and recite something over it, then tell me to drink some of it and wash my hands and face in it. 24.1

[ʿAbd Allāh:] আমি আমার পিতাকে নবী ﷺ-এর একটি চুল নিতে দেখেছি, সেটি তাঁর মুখের উপর রেখে চুমু খেতে। আমার মনে পড়ে তিনি সেটি তাঁর চোখের উপর রেখেছিলেন, তারপর পানিতে ডুবিয়ে সেই পানি রোগমুক্তির আশায় পান করেছিলেন। একবার আমি দেখেছি তিনি নবী ﷺ-এর পেয়ালা নিয়ে পানির পাত্রে ধুয়ে সেখান থেকে পান করলেন। আর একবারের বেশি আমি দেখেছি তিনি রোগমুক্তির আশায় যমযমের কূপের পানি পান করতে এবং তা তাঁর হাত ও মুখমণ্ডলে মাখতে। 24.2

[ʿAbd Allāh:] I saw my father take one of the Prophet’s hairs, place it over his mouth, and kiss it. I may have seen him place it over his eyes, and dip it in water and then drink the water for a cure. Once I saw him take the Prophet’s bowl, wash it in the water jar, and drink from it. And more than once I saw him drink water from the well of Zamzam152 for a cure, and rub it on his hands and face. 24.2
