8.3.8 Not Travelling Alone for More than 24 Hours
Il est interdit à une femme musulmane d'entreprendre un voyage qui dure plus de 24 heures, à moins qu'elle ne soit accompagnée d'un mahram. Il incombe à son mahram de veiller à ce que sa sécurité, son honneur et son bien-être soient protégés.
It is forbidden for a Muslim woman to travel on a journey which lasts for more than 24 hours, unless she is in the company of a mahram. It is the role of her mahram to ensure that her safety, honour and welfare are protected.
Muslim a rapporté que le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Il n'est pas permis à une femme de voyager pendant une journée sans un mahram. »
Muslim reported that the Prophet (saw) said, “It is not allowed for a woman to travel for a day without a mahram.”
