تتولى دائرة الأمن الداخلي كل ما يتعلق بالأمن، وتمنع كل ما يهدد الأمن الداخلي. وتحفظ أمن البلاد عن طريق الشرطة، ولا تلجأ إلى الجيش إلا بأمر الخليفة. ويُسمّى رئيس هذه الدائرة (مدير الأمن الداخلي). ولهذه الدائرة فروع في الولايات، يُسمّى كل منها (شعبة الأمن الداخلي)، ويُسمّى رئيس الشعبة في الولاية (صاحب الشرطة).

The Department of Internal Security is responsible for everything related to security, and prevents anything that threatens the internal security. It protects the security of the land through the police, and does not resort to the Army except by the order of the Khalifah. The head of this department is called the (Manager of Internal Security). This department has branches in the provinces, each of which is called (Section of Internal Ssecurity) and the head of the section is called the Police Chief, Sahib Al-Shurtah, in the province.

إدارة الأمن الداخلي هي المسؤولة عن كل ما يتعلق بالأمن الداخلي، ويرأسها مدير الأمن الداخلي. وتكون لهذه الإدارة فرع في كل محافظة يسمى قسم الأمن الداخلي، ويرأسه رئيس شرطة المحافظة، الذي يكون تحت مسؤولية المحافظ من حيث التنفيذ. ويتبع إدارة الأمن الداخلي من حيث الإدارة، وهو أمر ينظمه قانون خاص.
