সেনাবাহিনীকে অস্ত্রশস্ত্র, রসদ ও সরঞ্জাম, এবং এমন সকল প্রয়োজনীয় ও আবশ্যক উপকরণ সরবরাহ করা ওয়াজিব, যা তাকে একটি ইসলামী সেনাবাহিনী হিসেবে তার দায়িত্ব পালনে সক্ষম করে তোলে।

It is obligatory to provide the Army with weapons, supplies and equipment, as well as all necessities and requirements, which enable it to carry out its mission as an Islamic Army.

এর দলিল হলো আল্লাহ (SWT)-এর বাণী।

Its evidence is the words of Allah (swt).

“আর তোমরা তাদের বিরুদ্ধে যথাসাধ্য শক্তি ও যুদ্ধের জন্য প্রস্তুত অশ্ববাহিনী সংগ্রহ করে রাখো, যা দ্বারা তোমরা আল্লাহর শত্রু ও তোমাদের শত্রুদের এবং তাদের ছাড়া অন্যান্যদের ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত করবে, যাদের তোমরা জানো না, কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাদের জানেন।” (সূরা আত-তাওবাহ ৮:৬০)। সুতরাং যুদ্ধের প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করা একটি কর্তব্য, এবং এই প্রস্তুতি প্রকাশ্যে হওয়া উচিত, যাতে শত্রুরা ও প্রজাদের মধ্যকার মুনাফিকরা ভীত হয়। আল্লাহ (সুবহানাহু ওয়া তা'আলা)-এর বাণী,

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah.” (TMQ 8:60). So the preparation for fighting is a duty, and this preparation should be open so as to intimidate the enemies and the hypocrites from amongst the subjects. His (swt) saying,
