A--- Allah, o Altíssimo, diz: {E (lembra-te) quando teu Senhor tirou dos filhos de Adão, de seus lombos, a sua descendência (ou dos lombos de Adão, a sua prole) e os fez testemunhar contra si mesmos (dizendo): "Não sou Eu o vosso Senhor?" Responderam: "Sim! Testemunhamos"}. (Al-A'raf, 172)
A--- Allah the Almighty says: {And (remember) when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam's loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying): "Am I not your Lord?" They said: "Yes! We testify"}. (Al-A' raf, 172)
