A--- Allah, o Todo-Poderoso, diz: {Ele vos conhece bem, desde quando vos criou da terra (Adão), e quando éreis fetos nos ventres de vossas mães. Portanto, não atribuais pureza a vós mesmos. Ele sabe melhor quem O teme e mantém o seu dever para com Ele (isto é, os que são Al-Muttaqun, os piedosos)}. (An-Najm, 32)

A--- Allah the Almighty says: {He knows you well when He created you from the earth (Adam), and when you were fetuses in your mothers' wombs. So ascribe not purity to yourselves. He knows best him who fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him (i.e. those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious)}. (An-Najm, 32)

Narrado por 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (que Allah esteja satisfeito com ele): O Mensageiro de Allah, o verdadeiro e verdadeiramente inspirado, disse: "(O processo da Criação de) um ser humano é reunido no ventre da mãe em quarenta dias; depois ele se torna um coágulo de sangue espesso por um período semelhante e, em seguida, um pedaço de carne por um período semelhante. Então Allah envia um anjo, a quem é ordenado que escreva quatro coisas: ele deve registrar seus atos, seu sustento, sua morte e se ele será abençoado ou desgraçado (na religião). Depois, a alma é soprada nele. Assim, um homem entre vocês pode praticar boas ações até que reste apenas um côvado entre ele e o Paraíso, e então o que foi escrito para ele decide seu comportamento, e ele começa a praticar ações más, próprias dos habitantes do Fogo (do Inferno). E da mesma forma, um homem entre vocês pode praticar más ações"

Narrated' Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him): Allah's Messenger, the true and truly inspired said: "(The matter of the Creation of) a human being is put together in the womb of the mother in forty days, and then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period, and then a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then Allah sends an angel who is ordered to write four things. He is ordered to write down his (i.e. the new creature's) deeds, his livelihood, his (date of) death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into him. So, a man amongst you may do (good deeds till there is only a cubit between him and Paradise and then what has been written for him decides his behavior and he starts doing (evil) deeds characteristic of the people of the (Hell) Fire. And similarly a man amongst you may do (evil)
