A ---Allah, o Todo-Poderoso, diz: {Allah é o Criador de todas as coisas, e Ele é o Wakil (Guardião, Encarregado dos assuntos, Protetor) de todas as coisas}. (Az-Zumar, 62)

Allah, o Todo-Poderoso, diz: {Quem Allah guia, esse é o bem-guiado, e quem Ele deixa extraviar, esses são os perdedores}. (Al-A'raf, 178)

Zaid Ibn 'Alqam (que Allah esteja satisfeito com ele) relatou: "Não direi nada senão aquilo que o Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ costumava dizer. Ele costumava invocar: 'Ó Allah, busco refúgio em Ti contra a incapacidade, a preguiça, a covardia, a avareza, a decrepitude e o tormento do túmulo. Ó Allah, concede à minha alma a consciência da retidão e purifica-a, pois Tu és o melhor Purificador dela, Tu és o seu Protetor e o seu Guardião. Ó Allah, busco refúgio em Ti contra o conhecimento que não beneficia, contra o coração que não teme (a Allah), contra a alma que não se sacia e contra a súplica que não é atendida.'" (Sahih Muslim)

Zaid Ibn 'Alqam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I am not going to say anything but only that which Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) used to say. He used to supplicate: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from sloth, from cowardice, from miserliness, decrepitude and from torment of the grave. 0 Allah, grant to my soul the sense of righteousness and purify it, for Thou art the Best Purifier thereof Thou art the Protecting Friend thereof, and Guardian thereof 0 Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allah), from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not responded.” (Sahih Muslim)
