A ---Narrated Imam At-Tirmidhi: Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: "The Prescribed Penalty for the sorcerer is a hit with the sword.” (A Weak Hadith narrated by At- Tirmidhi)

At-Tirmidhi acrescentou: Esta pena foi aplicada pelos eruditos entre os companheiros do Profeta Muhammad ﷺ e por outros. Esta também é a opinião do Imam Malik ibn Anas.

At-Tirmidhi added: This penalty has been brought into effect by the wellversed from among the companions of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and others. This is also the saying of Imam Malik Ibn Anas.

O Imam Ash-Shafi'i disse: O feiticeiro deve ser morto se suas ações chegarem ao grau de descrença, mas se não chegarem, ele não deve ser morto.

Imam Ash-Shafi' I said: The sorcerer is to be killed if his acts reach the degree of disbelief, but if they do not, he is not to be killed.
