A--- Allah's Messenger ﷺ says: "O efeito do mau-olhado é uma realidade." (Bukhari e Muslim)

A--- Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) says: "The effect of an evil eye is a fact.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Narrado Umm Salamah (que Allah esteja satisfeito com ela): Que o Profeta ﷺ viu em sua casa uma menina cujo rosto tinha uma mancha negra. Ele disse: "Ela está sob o efeito do mau-olhado, então trate-a com uma Ruqyah." (Bukhari e Muslim)

Narrated Umm. Salamah (May Allah be pleased with her): That the Prophet (Peace be upon him) saw in her house a girl whose face had a black spot. He said. "She is under the effect of an evil eye, so treat her with a Ruqyah.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Narrado por ʿĀʾishah (que Allah esteja satisfeita com ela): O Profeta ﷺ ordenou-me, ou a outra pessoa, que fizesse ruqyah (em caso de perigo) contra o mau-olhado. (Bukhari e Muslim)

Narrated `A'ishah (May Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (Peace be upon him) ordered me or somebody else to do Ruqyah (if there was danger) from an evil eye.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Ele ﷺ disse: "Não é permitida nenhuma Ruqyah, exceto por mau-olhado ou febre." (Imam Ahmed)

He (Peace be upon him) says: "No Ruqyah is allowed but for an evil eye or fever." (Imam Ahmed)

Outras narrações que seguem a mesma linha podem ser encontradas entre os Hadiths autênticos. Mas, devemos saber que o mau-olhado não pode ser eficaz a menos que Allah, o Todo-Poderoso, queira. Com isso, o seguinte versículo foi interpretado por muitos dos nossos antigos eruditos: {E, de fato, aqueles que descreem quase te fariam escorregar com seus olhares (por ódio) quando ouvem a Mensagem (o Alcorão)}. (Al-Qalam, 51)

Other narrations that go in the same vein can be found among the authentic Hadiths. But, we should know that the evil eye can not be effective unless Allah the Almighty wills. With this, the following verse was interpreted by many of our earlier scholars: {And verily, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes (through hatred) when they hear the Reminder (the Qur'an)}. (Al-Qalam, 51)
