A--- Allah, o Altíssimo, diz: {E, em vez de agradecerdes pelo sustento que Ele vos concede, vós O negais (com a descrença)!} (Al-Waqi'ah, 82)

A--- Allah the Almighty says: {And instead (of thanking Allah) for the provision He gives you, you deny (Him by disbelief)!}. (AlWaqi' ah, 82)

Narrado por Sufyan (que Allah esteja satisfeito com ele): 'Ubaidullah disse: "Eu ouvi Ibn 'Abbas dizer: 'Seguem alguns traços das pessoas do período pré-islâmico de ignorância: (a) difamar a ascendência de outras famílias; (b) e lamentar-se em voz alta pelos mortos.'" 'Ubaidullah esqueceu o terceiro traço.

Narrated Sufyan (May Allah be pleased with him): 'Ubaidullah said: "I heard Ibn 'Abbas saying, "Following are some traits of the people of the pre-Islamic period of ignorance (a) to defame the ancestry of other families; (b) and to wail over the dead." 'Ubaidullah forgot the third trait.

Sufyan disse: "Dizem que (ou seja, o terceiro traço) era acreditar que a chuva é causada pela influência das estrelas (isto é, se uma estrela especial aparecer, vai chover)."

Sufyan said: "They say it (i.e. the third trait) was to believe that rain was caused by the influence of stars (i.e. if a special star appears it will rain).

Foi narrado por Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani: O Mensageiro de Allah ﷺ conduziu a oração da manhã em Hudaibiyah. Havia alguns sinais de chuva durante a noite. Ao final da oração, ele se voltou para as pessoas e observou: "Vocês sabem o que o seu Senhor disse?" Eles responderam: "Allah e Seu Mensageiro sabem melhor." Diante disso, ele (o Profeta ﷺ) comentou: "Ele (Allah) disse: Alguns dos Meus servos amanheceram como Meus crentes e alguns como descrentes. Aquele que disse: Recebemos chuva pela Bênção e Misericórdia de Allah, esse é Meu crente e descrente nas estrelas, e aquele que disse:

It is narrated on the authority of Zaid Ibn Khalid AI-Juhani: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) led the morning prayer at Hudaibiyah. There were some marks of the rainfall during the night. At the conclusion of prayer he turned towards people and observed: "Do you know what your Lord has said?" They replied: "Allah and His Messenger know best." Upon this he (the Prophet) remarked: "He (Allah) said: Some of My slaves entered the morning as My believers and some as unbelievers. He who said: We have had a rainfall due to the Blessing and Mercy of Allah, he is My believer and a disbeliever of stars, and who said:

Tivemos uma chuva devido ao nascer das estrelas, e ele afirmou sua fé nas estrelas." (Bukhari e Muslim)

We have had a rainfall due to the rising affirmed his faith in the stars." (Bukhari and Muslim)
