उश्रीया भूमि (‘Ushriyyah) वह भूमि है जो अरब प्रायद्वीप के भीतर है, और वह भूमि भी जिसके मालिकों ने भूमि के कब्ज़े में रहते हुए इस्लाम अपना लिया था, इससे पहले कि इस्लामी राज्य ने जिहाद द्वारा उस पर विजय प्राप्त की। खराजीया भूमि (Kharajiyyah) वह सारी भूमि है, जो अरब प्रायद्वीप के अलावा है और जिसे जिहाद द्वारा खोला गया, चाहे युद्ध से हो या शांति संधियों से। उश्रीया भूमि, उसके लाभों सहित, व्यक्तियों के स्वामित्व में होती है, जबकि खराजीया भूमि का स्वामित्व राज्य के पास होता है, और उसके लाभों का स्वामित्व व्यक्तियों के पास होता है। हर व्यक्ति को शरीयत के अनुबंधों के माध्यम से उश्रीया भूमि और खराजीया भूमि के लाभों का आदान-प्रदान करने का अधिकार है। सभी लोग इन्हें उसी प्रकार विरासत में पा सकते हैं, जैसे अन्य सभी संपत्ति को।

Tithed land (‘Ushriyyah) constitutes land within the Arabian Peninsula and land whose owners had embraced Islam, whilst possessing the land, before the Islamic State conquered them by Jihad. Taxed land (Kharajiyyah) is all land, other than the Arabian Peninsula, which was opened by jihad, whether through war or peace treaties. The ‘Ushriyyah land, together with its benefits, is owned by individuals, whereas the Kharajiyyah land is owned by the State, while individuals own its benefits. Every individual has the right to exchange, through Shari’ah contracts, the tithed land and the benefits of taxed land. All people can inherit these, the same as with all other wealth.
