Q 106: Cite some examples from the Prophetic Sunnah pertaining to the portents of the Last Hour?
А--- Пророческая сунна содержит множество знамений Часа. Некоторые из них таковы: восход солнца с запада, зверь, Даджжаль, нисхождение Иисуса, сына Марии, Гог и Магог, дым, ветер, который заберёт души всех верующих, огонь, который появится из Йемена и погонит людей к месту их собрания, и обрушение земли. (23)
A--- The Prophetic Sunnah denotes a good deal of the portents of the Last Hour. Some of them are as follows: the rising of the sun from the west, the beast, Dajjal, the descent of Jesus son of Mary, the Gog and Magog, the smoke, the wind that would take souls of all the believers, the fire that would appear from the Yemen, and would drive people to the place of their assembly, and the land-sliding. (23)
(23) Хузайфа ибн Усайд аль-Гифари (да будет мир с ним) передал: Посланник Аллаха ﷺ неожиданно пришёл к нам, когда мы беседовали. Он спросил: «О чём вы говорите?» Они (сподвижники) ответили: «Мы говорим о Часе». Тогда он сказал: «Он не наступит, пока вы не увидите десять знамений до него». И он упомянул дым, Даджжаля, зверя, восход солнца с запада, нисхождение Ису сына Марьям (да будет доволен им Аллах), Йаджудж и Маджудж, а также обвалы в трёх местах: один на востоке, один на западе и один в Аравии. В конце появится огонь, который выйдет из Йемена и погонит людей к месту их собрания. Айша (да будет доволен ею Аллах)
(23) Hudhaifa Ibn Usaid Ghifari (Peace be upon him) reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) came to us all of a sudden as we were (busy in a discussion). He said: What do you discuss about? They (the companions) said. We are discussing about the Last Hour.Thereupon he said: It will not cone until you see ten signs before and (in this connection) he made a mention of the smoke, Dajjal, the beast, the rising of the sun from the west, the descent of Jesus son of Mary (Allah be pleased with him), the Gog and Magog, and landslidings in three places, one in the east, one in the west and one in Arabia at the end of which fire would burn forth from the Yemen, and would drive people to the place of their assembly. " A'ishah (May Allah be pleased with her)
Передал: Я слышал, как посланник Аллаха ﷺ говорил: «Порядок ночи и дня не прекратится до тех пор, пока люди не начнут поклоняться Лат и Узза».
reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (Peace be upon him) as saying: The (system) of night and day would not end until the people have taken to the worship of Lat and' Uzza.
Я сказал: «О Посланник Аллаха, я думаю, что когда Аллах ниспослал этот аят: "Он — Тот, Кто послал Своего Посланника с верным руководством и истинной религией, чтобы Он возвысил её над всякой религией, хотя многобожники и были бы против" (9:33), это означает, что это обещание непременно сбудется». Тогда он ﷺ сказал: «Это произойдёт так, как пожелает Аллах. Затем Аллах пошлёт благоуханный ветерок, и от него умрёт всякий, в чьём сердце есть хотя бы горчичное зерно веры в Него, и останутся лишь те, в ком нет никакого добра. И они вернутся к религии своих предков».
I said: Allah's Messenger, I think when Allah has revealed this verse: "He it is Who has sent His Messenger with right guidance, and true religion, so that He may cause it to prevail upon all religions, though the polytheists are averse (to it)" (ix. 33), it implies that (this promise) is going to be fulfilled. Thereupon he (Allah's Messenger) said: It would happen as Allah would like. Then Allah would send the sweet fragrant air by which everyone who has even a mustard grain of faith in Him would die and those only would survive who would have no goodness in them. And they would revert to the religion of their forefathers."
