А--- Между предыдущим хадисом и аятом Корана нет никакого противоречия. Ведь «деяния», упомянутые в аяте, являются причиной входа в Рай, а то, что отрицается в хадисе, — это представление о том, что деяния становятся не просто причиной, а платой за него. Действительно, даже если бы человек прожил всю продолжительность жизни этого мира, постясь днём, всю ночь стоя в молитве Аллаху и избегая всех видов грехов, вся его жизнь не была бы достаточной, чтобы воздать даже одну десятую доли малейшего блага, которым его одарил Аллах. Как же тогда они могут быть подходящей ценой за Рай! {Господи мой! Прости и помилуй, ибо Ты — Лучший из милующих!} (аль-Му’минун, 118)

A--- There is no contradiction between the previous Hadith and the Qur'anic verse. For the " deeds" mentioned in the verse are the cause behind entering Paradise and what is negated in the Hadith is the sense that the deeds turn not to be a mere cause, but they turn into a price paid for it. Indeed, if man lived the whole period of life of the world, fasting during the day, standing in prayer for Allah during the whole night, and avoiding all kinds of sins, the whole of his life would not be enough for meeting even one-tenth of the slightest blessing he is granted by Allah. How can it be then the price suitable for Paradise! {My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!}. (Al-Mu'minun, 118)
